My request to the developers is to please not allow greed to ruin your game! It takes a bit to get up and going but the thing holding me back from 5 stars is that your heroes can die in a villain battle. I sent three heroes into battle and it predicted it would be “easy” but then I get the update that they’ve fallen in battle. And now they’re gone. Poof! No more. It didn’t say anywhere that my heroes might die. And now I’m sad. (As sad as a person can be over a fake hero in a mobile app game.) It is missing an alternative income source. Just put some sort of way for me to see if they can make it or not, I’m tired of wasting turns restoring my hero’s energy just to never make it to a crisis. I can see the game being really fun, but it has a long long long way to go before that happens. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review, I’m sorry that you had a bad experience in the game. Can’t even play it. I was really excited to play it too. ### 2/5 — Needs major improvements *2025-09-27* The concept is cool and has a ton of potential. The problem is the execution. You only start with the capacity for 3 heroes, and none of the crises that I would get matched up with my hero types no matter how many I sent away and tried to hire to solve this. Then the random “didn’t make it to the crisis in time” mechanic, or losing a crisis with 0 explanation despite being over leveled for the crisis. Major rework needs to be done. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! This game is in a very early stage, it still lacks a lot of features that would make the game and logic (calculations) more clear. But I (the developer himself) am happy that you pinpoint this issue of yours, so I can put a bit more focus on that. Later, as it is mentioned in the "Future Plans" menu, we plan to expand the game with detail end-turn messages, that will give you insight what exactly happened each turn and combat. So stay tuned as the game grows, and I really hope you will like how the game grows! :) ### 2/5 — Fun concept, lacks in execution *2025-07-23* I enjoy the concept of the game, and the general loop is interesting, but the progression does not feel good. I suspect much of this game was created using AI. The hero bios have all of the trademarks of AI generation, the progression doesn’t quite feel right, and the calculations for winning/losing crises are hidden behind vague terminology. I will regularly fail crises that are strength “8-12” with a team that has a total strength of 30+ with multiple heroes that are supposed to be “strong” against that type of crisis. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! This game is in a very early stage, it still lacks a lot of features that would make the game and logic (calculations) more clear. But I (the developer himself) am happy that you pinpoint this issue of yours, so I can put a bit more focus on that. Of course, there are some things in the game that were created with the help of AI, like the hero bios, and some crisis illustrations, but for example the heroes were drawn (even though I’m not a graphic guy) by myself (inspired by AI sketches). So yes, Ai was a lot of help, but since I also not very happy that sometimes pure AI stuff appears in the game, the plan is to swap them with content re-written and re-drawn by a creator. So stay tuned, and I really hope that you will like how the game will grow! ### 3/5 — Fun, But Needs More *2025-11-08* Really fun game, has lots of potential, but after a while it gets really slow. It takes forever to earn cash making it take forever to get any of the upgrades. The weekly fame earnings seem to cap out at like $30 and the only other way to earn caps out at like $60-$100 possible but takes several weeks if something to show up. This means it takes forever to earn upgrades that are worth several thousands. I think once the game is complete and the rest of the content is added, it’ll help a lot but now there isn’t a whole lot past the first little bit. I love the idea of getting future updates ahead of time but the cost, $5 a month, is insane especially when updates are happening only once every few months. I’d gladly pay a flat 5$ or maybe even $10 to support development but the subscription cost is a dealbreaker for me. The next update will introduce a new way to earn money (and more are planned), so that should help balance things out. The subscription is totally optional, everyone will get the features for free. The subscription is more for a kind of support, but since the game still does not have a lot of features (yet), I only offer early access to new features for your support (because every new thing I add is essential still). Once the game has more content, I’d like to add other support options too, so players can pick what fits them best.
