The only thing I can complain about is that two days ago there was an update. But when I went into the app, all my downloads were gone and the text spacing was off, which meant it was hard to read. I would really appreciate it if I could at least get a notification that there is an update, or even better, have the update automatically done. And if it is possible to fix the downloads disappearing and the text spacing that would be great too. Several arrows on the page allow for navigation but also make it easier to lose your place. Very frustrating. Spend more time trying to get back to my place than actually reading the content. Pastor Guzik is trustworthy in all his preparation and his commitment to Jesus Christ. I have recommended the commentary to many. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Commentary *2025-06-14, version 2.7.1* I’m based in South Africa, I was introduced to the app by my bible study partner and ever since then I’ve never looked back. I also love the fact that the app gives options for audios and videos if you don’t want to read, which later on introduced me to Pastor David’s YouTube channel and I have been doing my bible study with his church ever since!! If I were to say I am in love with the app? it will be an understatement. The update as of 05-17-2025 does not work and stays stuck on the 2nd screen regarding the gathering of data. That is why I am giving the app only 1 star today. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE!!! *2023-02-16, version 2.5.4* I used this for several years while studying the Word. Accumulated dozens of bookmarks. ALL GONE!! There latest version will not upgrade on iPhone. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t seem like the write believes in the Bible as Truth but rather a “possibility” *2020-05-25* So I was originally excited to start using this app to study the word even deeper, but after reading John 14 and then using this to dive deeper into the word and see what this had to say I was instantly taking back on what was written. For example for commentary on the verse when Jesus says “No one comes to the Father except through Me.” The app has a comment under that saying “ Jesus made this remarkable statement, claiming that He was the only way to God.” Claiming?!?! Why if you are a believer writing this, why would you say Jesus “claimed,” something as if there is a possibility that Jesus isn’t actually telling or speaking the very truth?!? This was just one example that the many times through the whole chapter the commentary said Jesus “claims” something rather then saying Jesus “said” or “told” us something. A lot of the commentary almost seems as if the writer and creator isn’t even sure if what Jesus said is truly the word of God. I have never giving a written review for any app but I am so sorry I just feel like I can’t even trust using this as a reference for when studying something in the Bible that I’m unfamiliar with or anything in general because the writer honestly doesn’t seem to have written things out in a way that would come off as a true believer in the words of Jesus. ### 1/5 — Unable to use the app after update to IOS 13.1.2, please help *2019-10-11, version 2.1.0* Hi after I updated to iOS 13.1.2, the app will auto close down each time I try to open it.
