But the PayPal payment form is extremely suspicious. My phone doesn’t recognise that it’s in a PayPal.com page so doesn’t give me the login and password, as if it was an exact copy of the PayPal payment form within the Enel Energia app. I don’t feel safe using it. Neanche le app delle banche obbligano ad aggiornare con tale frequenza. Sarà mio diritto dato che è installata sul mio telefono? 1 stella per questo Risposta degli sviluppatori: “ Gli aggiornamenti sono necessari al fine di migliorare il servizio offerto.” Risposta mia: grazie per averci illuminato con una risposta così ovvia da far calar le braghe (di questi tempi temo che a rispondere non ci sia un essere umano dall’altro lato). Il problema già esposto è in realtà l’obbligo ad aggiornare anche quando gli aggiornamenti sono minimi e non rivoluzionano il funzionamento dell’app. Si può comprendere la necessità dell’aggiornamento se viene rilasciata una versione maggiore con cambiamenti fondamentali o per gravi bug nella sicurezza. Ci sono migliaia di app in circolazione che non obbligano ad aggiornare (a dimostrazione che la cosa è fattibilissima) per ogni singolo micro aggiornamento. Obbligare ad aggiornare l’utente 1)fa perdere tempo (soprattutto se uno non vuole gli aggiornamenti automatici perché vuole sapere cosa è installato sul suo telefono) 2)consuma batteria e energia elettrica (e voi la vendete…) 3)consuma dati 4)moltiplicato per migliaia o milioni di utenti per i punti 2 e 3 sopra inquina. Quindi: lasciate all’utente la scelta salvo che sia strettamente necessario per i motivi suddetti Continuo a dire che questo atteggiamento merita 1 stella. Das würde den Service erleichtern. ### 1/5 — Feedback on Enel Services for Non-Italian Speakers *2025-12-09, version 11.0.24* If you do not speak Italian, Enel is really not a good option for either energy or internet services. The app is entirely in Italian, with no real support for other languages. I had an internet contract with them, and their support in helping me close it was remarkably slow. No one in customer service was proactive in addressing my questions; one person told me my contract was closed, while another later informed me that it was not. Regarding the internet contract, one customer service agent clearly told me that if I wanted to stop my contract, I should request the termination on the exact day I wanted it to end because the process would be immediate. I followed this instruction, but the termination was not immediate, and I ended up having to pay for part of the following month. If you want to speak to someone who has at least a basic level of English, you have to fill out a form and wait for someone to call you back. I did this twice and never received any response. I also tried to set up an energy contract, but once again the customer service team was not helpful at all. In short, if you do not speak Italian, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Non è stato possibile recuperare il documento da pagare.” when in reality the bill is ready for payment.
