## What is Énergie Cardio?

The Énergie Cardio Entrainement app was designed to optimize the attainment of your fitness goals. As an Énergie Cardio member, get access to your fitness programs, wherever, whenever. 

You have two options: 
 
1.	All Énergie Cardio membership gives you access to: 
- Global fitness programs designed by Énergie Cardio kinesiologists;
- A calendar that tracks your workouts and physical activities;
- Food recipes developed by Isabelle Huot, Doctor in nutrition.

You can also:
- Enter your training data directly from the app (pre-design fitness programs);
- Synchronize your smart devices: Polar, Garmin, Fitbit watches, Apple Health, and apps such as Strava, MyFitnessPal, and Google Agenda;
- Keep data related to your body measurements and other data up to date;
- And visualize your progress with graphs.

2.	If you have a Personal Trainer, you get access to:
- Fitness programs designed by your Personal Trainer;
- Workouts via videoconference in the comfort of your home;
- Your health professionals (ex: physiotherapist, nutritionist, etc.);
- A fitness community.

You can also:
- Interact with your Personal Trainer via messaging;
- Share photos or other files with your Personal Trainer;
- Access your physical condition assessments;
- Fill out follow-up questionnaires directly from the app.

The Énergie Cardio Entrainement app gives you the opportunity to centralize all the information you need to reach your goals. And it will keep you motivated throughout your workout!

L’ajout de l’Apple Watch serait génial pour enregistrer les sets et avoir notre programme à portée de main sans avoir à traîner son iPhone.

Plusieurs bogues (pertes de connexion fréquentes, blocages lors de la sauvegarde) et fonctionnement généralement mal pensé. On dirait que les concepteurs ne l’ont jamais utilisée. Du genre : pouvoir changer les charges de toute une série, plutôt que de le changer à la mitaine 10 fois de suite ? Ou une façon d’ajouter des notes qui, au lieu de disparaître dans l’univers, réapparaissent à l’entraînement suivant ?

L'idée de créer une app s’avère à la base intéressante. Or l'exécution est de piètre qualité.

Tout d'abord l'app ne mémorise pas toujours les poids des exercices ce qui oblige à les inscrire à chaque fois. Non seulement on doit les inscrire une fois pour chaque série.

De manière générale l'usager clique plus souvent qu'il ne le devrait. Aussi le défilement bloque parfois ce qui fait perdre du temps.

Au final je considère la feuille de papier plus pratique. Le seul avantage de l'app se résume aux images et à la description pour chaque exercice. Pour le reste je trouve l’application plutôt décevante et désagréable.

En espérant que les irritants seront corrigés dans le futur, car ça demeure une belle initiative.
