The camera gives hundreds of false activations due to sunlight, shadows, rain and even stray spiders but the video is poor and useless to me. Can’t find way to remove. ### 4/5 — I’ve had it for a few years now here’s the good the bad and the ugly *2025-07-28, version 5.4.0* Here are the good things the night vision mode the IR mode in the lights mode all seem to work very well for movement and when you get closer, the light turns on and it catches the person in color at night. The camera seems to be pretty good, but you do have to mess around with the sensitivity sound/motion if you’re in a more populated area this may trigger more often. Just an FYI otherwise it works OK. The bad things doesn’t do as much as you would think it would do it would be nice if it had a pan mode where it would slowly go back-and-forth from a set point to a set point and kind of keep an eye on a larger area and then if it detects move it would hold and focus on that movement. It doesn’t do this. Which is too bad the only other bad thing. Is set up has to be done during normal business hours of the week in other words if you’re trying to program it Saturday or Sunday it does Program and initial set up. The ugly side it appears to get worse, but appears to be glitchy. The camera view tends to go in and out. Or blank screen, and then back again sometimes flickering on and off not sure why. And it seems to have gotten worse when I added the extra cameras. Not sure why either. All in all it does the job records, the information and if you want, you can store it either by mini card or subscription. And have very little problems with it, except for the weird glitch where it flickers on and off at times. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-07-08, version 5.4.0* Have Energizer bulbs and it does not connect. Light flashes as it should and message pops up saying it is not supported. It is an Energizer . ### 1/5 — Latest update messed up groups *2025-06-18, version 5.4.0* The latest update is really buggy, the groups of lights are now thrown into a “lamp” and I can no longer do scenes, liked being able to have them all changing colors synced up, that is now no longer possible. Also it’s buggy, not loading, or not turning lights on or off having to go to each one manually to turn on, only for one to randomly turn off later. Terrible update. ### 1/5 — Terrible Product *2025-04-26, version 5.4.0* We purchased 4 of these bulbs. The directions are very minimal. There is no complete manual to understand the operation of this. You phone support and they aren’t helpful to you. I get Operation Failed message but then it says it’s working and it’s not. Very disappointed in this purchase and extremely disappointed in Energizer for manufacturing such a poor product. We always thought Energizer items would be a good purchase but we certainly were wrong. We wasted our money. It’s fantastic with real-time updates and user-friendly controls that make setup a breeze. However, I’m facing a frustrating issue with the device update. Whenever I attempt to update the device through the app, it informs me that the update is unavailable due to a connection error. Despite having a strong signal and following all the necessary steps, the device remains unupdated. ### 1/5 — Junk *2025-03-07, version 5.4.0* Worked for one day. Would not work remotely. Tried to reconnect(pair) the next day and still won’t work. Will be returned to store. ### 3/5 — Frequently Goes Offline *2025-02-26, version 5.4.0* The good: Camera produces a good picture. The bad: The camera frequently kicks itself offline for unknown reasons, and there is no way to remotely get it back online that I know of, other than flipping off the power, waiting for 30 seconds, then turning it back on. Deleted my entire account (per support) and I’m still being charged. Error 40402 occurs repeatedly on half of my motion detection videos so I am unable to view the video at all due to this error. Three videos will be fine then the next two will have error 40402. Then the next four are fine, then again error 40402 for the next two videos. Do not rely or buy any products from this company and manufacturer, especially if intended use could bring unintentional harm or death to a loved one. Not worth the price if the product is defective. Switch to Anran or Ring.
