Engage Egypt is the go-to place for entrepreneurship, business, freelance, and services in Egypt. Whether you want to build something, offer a service or find one, hire or get hired, invest, mentor, or just meet the right people, there is a place for you here. Founders, freelancers, businesses, investors, mentors, students, and anyone just starting out.

Engage Egypt is the reviewed network for Egyptian entrepreneurs, freelancers, and operators. Every member is admin-reviewed before joining. Three surfaces, one shared room.

FIND CO-FOUNDERS AND INVESTORS · STARTUPS
Post your startup with the roles you need filled. Members apply in one click. Raising? State the ask, attach your proposal, and hear from interested investors. Engage connects you and steps back; it does not process investments.

HIRE FREELANCERS AND BUSINESS SERVICES
Browse Services and connect with reviewed Egyptian freelancers and business providers: designers, developers, marketers, lawyers, accountants, agencies. Every provider is a known, accountable member. Message directly, agree on scope, transact off-platform.

THE ROOM · ONE CHAT FOR THE WHOLE NETWORK
One real-time feed for the reviewed network. No channels, no algorithm. Members ask questions, share opportunities, introduce each other, and close deals.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-08-14

Files shared in chat now open when you tap them, forwarded messages appear in the conversation right away, and a saved file keeps its own name.

A cleaner look across the app: thinner card borders, stronger titles, clearer headers, and readable filter menus, matched to egyptengage.com.

New on the website: three public directories. Browse services, startups, and people at egyptengage.com, open to anyone. Appearing in the people directory is a choice you make in Settings, along with which contact channels a visitor may request.

Also improved: a price filter on Services, Startups naming throughout, and voice note previews in notifications.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-11

Files shared in chat now open when you tap them, and forwarded messages appear in the conversation right away.

New: the public directories. Browse services, startups, and people at egyptengage.com, open to anyone. Appearing in the people directory is a choice you make in Settings, and it stays off until you turn it on.

Pitch Space is now called Startups, and filters got stronger across the directories: pick several categories, stages, or roles at once.

Also improved: notification previews for voice notes, Arabic pages read fully in Arabic, and public pages follow your light or dark theme.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-14

This update fixes a crash on the Messages tab and makes launch and scrolling faster.

New in Pitch Space: proposals. Founders attach a PDF to their pitch and members read it right in the app. Raises got a clearer investor flow, with phone country codes and better forms.

Also improved: unread counts now clear correctly, covers and sharing previews look better, and dozens of small fixes landed from member feedback.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-12

Engage now does more for the people building things.

Freelancers can take requests from anyone through their listing link. No account needed to send one; requests land in one place.
Startups raising money can share the ask: ticket size, equity, and a direct way for interested people to express interest.
Founding Member badges for the members who built Engage first.
Engage links shared in chats now open directly in the app.
Faster, cleaner app launch, more reliable sign in, better search, and many small fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-08

Programs: a new directory of incubators and accelerators across Egypt. See who supports startups and apply on their own sites.
Refer and Earn: earn points for referrals, approved listings, posted pitches, and filled roles. The members who contribute the most form the Founders Council.
Pitch Space now lets pitch owners accept applications from people outside the app.
Share any pitch, service, or profile as a link that previews cleanly anywhere.
Report a bug or send feedback from one place in the menu.
