The only recordings that actually work are the ones from the FIRST semester. I have short term memory and these recordings are supposed to help me remember and yet they still don’t work after MONTHS. This app is terrible, I do not recommend for homeschooling! Teachers take notes! ### 1/5 — Update *2024-12-05, version 3.1.14* New update does not allow me to use airpods or bluetooth devices and always kicks me out when i change windows. ### 1/5 — Can’t do playbacks *2024-12-05, version 3.1.14* There’s only 2 ways to view videos and to have one of the options available and it not be playback is pointless. With this one everything is censored, I had to tell my teacher I had to leave early and then it said innerpropiate message and theres not playbacks. As a teacher, I have preset my students to be at one table (if I don’t, they can message each other and I have no idea what they’ve messaged and I can’t save their messages to review). Yet, the presetting a aren’t saved. I don’t have time to preset my settings before every class. You cannot view the messages at the same time as the video 2. Volume is not adjustable 3. It does not connect to headphones 4. Most links say “access denied” 5. Cannot playback at faster speed without being marked down. ### 1/5 — No recordings available *2024-06-05, version 3.1.6* The whole reason to download this app is to watch the lecture recordings and that’s not an option anywhere. Can’t do anything but tune in live. Also it doesn’t come out of landscape mode (screen turned sideways), which is super inconvenient. Developers please fix! Cant log in with my school email as it only lets me log in with Gmail and not office365. Needs guest sign in like on the play store version It says to either sign in or click the guest thing, but it doesn't exist ### 1/5 — Already heavily flawed *2025-10-30, version 3.1.18* I kid you not, I JUST downloaded this app, and I can't even sign in my account, i don't have my own engageli account, so I used my school email, but it literally keeps saying that "oh looks your email doesn't exist! Put in a real email" when it's literally the email on my school profile, I wanted to be able to join class without having to open like 5 tabs, but apparently that's not possible. Edit: i finally got in, I can't access my own settings and it literally forces me to open airplay instead?? That's not even an actual setting. Also the layout is extremely uncomfortable and different compared to the website. Seriously don't download it. ### 1/5 — Crashes with poll questions *2025-10-28, version 3.1.18* Was trying to watch the recording for my lecture last night I get a few minutes in the first poll pops up and it crashes on my phone, then I download the app it prompts me too create an account I do so then when I go to my class link it says that the class is already linked to my other account but I can’t logout and log in to my other email because its now stuck in a loop that continues to log me back in to the account I just created. This app needs a lot of help, just do it on the computer. ### 1/5 — terrible *2025-10-23, version 3.1.17* OK, so I have to do like k-12 and this app is usually amazing on the computer right well you’re wrong. It’s terrible. I have to turn my camera on to be honest I kind of like my camera off. It is way better but like bro why is she calling my name over and over my teacher keep calling my name I’m not always wanted to be called like stop saying my name I don’t want to be embarrassed. I don’t wanna waste your time so goodbye. ### 1/5 — Many Flaws *2025-01-28, version 3.1.14* Cant watch recordings on mobile or pc, wont let me choose specific classes and sometimes it just wont let me in a class causing me to be late, cant change screens or I am immediately kicked out, cant use headphone or earbuds. Many flaws and K12 absolutely should have never switched to this. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Honestly really great for classes! *2025-10-14, version 3.1.17* I have recently started using it for my online courses and it truly is an improvement from the other video software I was using. It is very convenient and great for online classes. The only issue I have ever ran into was the system is slightly more advanced and has a lot more tools, so you might need some practice. Start my school AZVA has recently switched to using this platform and I think it’s better than our last. You can have profile pictures go to the playback room connect with tables, react to messages and on the board. There’s a lot of fun features to it. it is not that bad as people are saying it is.
