This app is used for my college walking class, the app always shows zero steps. When I log in on the website it will say I have steps but it’s not the same as what my apple watch says i have. what’s the point in having an app that doesn’t even do what it’s intended to?

I have had it with this terrible app. I am taking a college course which requires 10,000 steps each week, and it only increases each week. It takes a lot to get frustration built up, but I have absolutely had it. The syncing button does not work at all. Such a total waste of time.

I'm required to use this app for my college course. It's been working but recently it stopped syncing. It will say the sync worked but nothing is showing up. And one of the days, it's completely blank, I don't know what to do.

This app was required for a course that I had the misfortune of taking. Trying to sync this to anything takes hours of trial and error. The only thing I was able to actually connect to was garmin, through another app called “garmin express.” It says that you can connect a Fitbit, but EngageMoves is not even on the list of approved apps to connect to Fitbit. This makes connecting it not possible. The app is clunky, and you can only add things to sync to on the website anyways. App support staff is no help either. Upon asking for help, they simply deleted my garmin connection and told me to re add it. Horrible app, needs a lot of work to even approach acceptability. If you are considering using this app to teach a course, beware! Prepare for hundreds of student emails asking about how to even use this app.

I honestly hate this app. I have never written a review for an app, but my patience for Engage is so gone to the point where I had to let everyone know. I currently use this app for a college course that requires 10,000 a day for 60% of our final grade. This app is so inaccurate with the steps that it is ridiculous. The MovBand is also inaccurate. Steps will disappear out of nowhere, and some steps will not even be counted after doing a workout. Highly do not recommend this app for a college course or even for everyday use.
