## What is EngineerTact?

EngineerTact is an offline field toolkit for engineers, land surveyors, RF technicians, and field operators across all domains — land, sea, and air.

KEY FEATURES:

• WGS84 Geodetic Coordinate Conversion — Convert between Geodetic (Lat/Lon/Alt) and ECEF (X/Y/Z) using the Bowring iterative algorithm. Real-time ENU Local Tangent Plane target tracking with bearing and range.

• RF & Radar Calculator — Compute Free Space Path Loss (FSPL), Radar Line of Sight (4/3-Earth model), first Fresnel Zone radius, and signal wavelength. All calculations run on-device.

• Mission Brief Planner — Build complete field mission briefs with route distance (Haversine), bearing in degrees and NATO mils, estimated time of arrival, and RF link margin. Save and reload briefs on-device.

• Aerospace & Maritime Converter — Convert speed (knots, km/h, m/s, Mach), altitude (ft, m, FL), pressure (hPa, inHg, psi), and ISA atmospheric parameters with full unit coverage.

• Number Base & Data Converter — Convert between decimal, hexadecimal, binary, and octal. IEEE 754 float analysis. Bit-width calculator.

• Formulas & Reference — Full mathematical reference for FSPL, WGS84 geodesy, Haversine, radar horizon, Fresnel zone, and NATO unit standards.

All calculations are performed entirely on-device. No network connection, no account, no tracking, no ads.

Fixed an issue where the iOS keyboard could appear on the Base Converter and Units screens. These tools now use their built-in keypads exclusively for faster, uninterrupted entry.

Faster launch with the splash animation removed. Input values are retained across tools and units, with individual clear buttons for every editable field. Improved cursor placement while editing values. HEX Decode now supports HEX, ASCII, and binary input formats.

• Fixed large-value (64-bit) results in the Data base converter (DEC/BIN/HEX/OCT).
• Polished spacing, typography, and the overall tactical look for better readability.
