Cannot translate a phrase, only single words. Does not recognise valid French words, e.g. recognises “Bon” but not “bonne”.

On a recent trip to a French speaking country, two out of 3 terms I looked up, were not part of the dictionary. We’re talking about common terms that you see on signs in public places and restaurants.

It's a dictionary. God help you if you need to translate more than one word at a time.

Il manque une fonction fondamentale à ce dictionnaire : la définition des mots traduits.
Exemple : le mot français "aiguille" ramène 11 mots anglais. Chacun de ces mots possède un sens très différent des autres, mais aucune définition ne permet d'en vérifier la signification.
Pour résumer, ce dico ne peut servir qu'à vous remettre en tête des mots  que vous avez déjà connus.
En attendant une hypothétique évolution, il y a certainement des app plus complètes.
