Although I doubt the developer is technical enough to do so, but opening the app always captures clipboard (anything you’ve copied). However, as I repurchased this app again after so many years today, I noticed that various changes in the images have occurred since. These changes resemble themselves as the photos having been cut into slides as oppose to how they were within the previous versions where one could easily zoom in and out of the images, with the option to even save them! Therefore, I would like to ask as to whether you will be bringing that version of the app back anytime soon with an update? ### 2/5 — Have to repurchase after every update *2018-06-21, version 3.0.5* This app has to be purchased again after every update. So frustrating! The idiom illustrations are great, but they should choose ones that are more commonly used. I purchased this to use with middle schoolers, and many of the idiom descriptions are not appropriate for that age group. ### 2/5 — The app didn't help me at all! *2017-05-03, version 3.0.5* This app needs some help with the way it teaches children. When I got this I expected it to ask me questions but, it didn't. It just showed me pictures and a bit of a story. BUT I did sort of like how it has funny stories in it. Like the one called "Bob is your uncle" that one was kinda funny. ### 5/5 — I used to really appreciated this ... *2017-04-11, version 3.0.5* THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL APP WITH QUITE A BIT OF HEARTFELT PASSION .........IF your just coming across it for the first time.... I'm changing my review but on the days noted I did not get a free update as promised , There is no restore purchases-- I have 8 devices of my own I use to teach inner city children who couldn't afford an iPad but this app has changed their mind "I'm gonna work hard " ( they're very young) " so I can learn better more on one of those things" (I'm afraid to name names or say the city so the Mayor doesn't put a hit out on me!) but RobertKennedy said it was the most Corrupt County in America -and it isn't Chicago..... Our school system hasn't paired its electric in over 10yrs -yet the lights are on - my time their is vocationally inspired after homeschooling my Daughter . I have a different number of idioms on all the devices ,I paid for the upgrade twice was refunded -& got a personal letter from the developer - but I never say a restore purchases for the update - I'm so confused But Don't let it stop you if you New I bought this long ago on The first iPad 1.0 and LOVED IT!!!! Still I was refunded for a second purchase but -from the 5-9th I got no special deal - as written- know all my devices have different numbers of idioms way less than that were their to begin before the update ?????? The idioms in this app are exactly that sort of resource. I now find myself explaining them to people all the time. We use these idioms so frequently without realising what we're saying. The cartoons make it really easy to remember the story behind the idioms too. ### 5/5 — Brilliant! *2017-03-25, version 3.0.5* This app is great for learning about the meaning and history of many frequently used idioms from the English language. The illustrations really help me remember the meanings of the idioms. Love showing people the fun facts...now I have to pay again??? What is going on.. My be it is a "Rip off" .. Idiom joke. ### 5/5 — Better than print *2017-03-06, version 3.0* Whether it's an idiom you already know, or if it's a new one for you, this app makes for a fascinating comix-based tour of the weird origins of some of the sayings that have been passed down the ages. Comix is the perfect medium for this subject matter. Easy to navigate, nicely paced, great illustrations. The definition of the idiom is held till the last panel. ### 4/5 — A great app for learning idioms!! *2017-01-27, version 2.0* This app is great for learning your basic idioms! I downloaded this app based on my little knowledge of idioms, then found out that idioms are really cool and interesting! I liked that the idioms were explained through comic strips as well as explained with words. I just disliked one thing, that you had to pay for other "high quality idioms" and that was kind of annoying, but other than that the idioms app is really great! ### 4/5 — Use app but could use some variety *2017-01-27, version 2.0* I really like how this app showed what each idiom meant with pictures but, I would change the fact that the app is only a slideshow of idioms. If this app had a game or some other activity then I would give it 5 stars. The lack of selection makes the app more boring.
