I use it to scan small sections of text only pages. The text is copied and pasted into my Margins app. The cropping tool seems to work well. I capture the image with my iPhone camera so the sharper and brighter the better. If the rendered text is not that great simply take another photo and try again. Processing times seemed reasonable. Three suggestions: recognize italic text, be able to rotate images into landscape for easier cropping, rejoin hyphenated words at line endings. Almost every character is wrong, mistaking https as mpszl.
