## What is English Preposition Tutor?

Struggling with English prepositions? You're not alone — in, on, at, by, for, with are some of the hardest words in English to get right. Prepositions makes them click, with clear lessons, hands-on practice, and quizzes designed for every learner — from primary school to university and major English exams.

Whether you're a young student learning where things are, a teenager mastering grammar rules, or an adult preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or GRE, this app grows with you.

LEARN — lessons for every grade level Organized into three tiers so the content is always at the right level: • Primary — simple position words: in, on, under, behind, next to, between • Secondary — prepositions of time, place, and movement, plus common confusions (in vs on vs at) • Higher & Exams — dependent prepositions (good AT, afraid OF), phrasal verbs, formal & academic usage, and error correction

BROWSE — a complete preposition reference Look up 60+ prepositions with plain-English meanings, usage rules, and real example sentences. Filter by category — Time, Place, Movement, and more — or search instantly.

PRACTICE — flashcards that build memory Flip through prepositions, mark what you know, and keep a daily streak going. A "Preposition of the Day" keeps you learning even on busy days.

QUIZ — test yourself and track progress Fill-in-the-blank questions with instant explanations that teach you why each answer is right. Pick your grade level and topic, see your score, and watch your average improve over time.

EXAM DRILLS — for serious test-takers Tough, exam-style sets covering the dependent prepositions and phrasal verbs that trip students up on IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, and GRE.

WHY PREPOSITIONS? Prepositions are a small set of words that carry a huge amount of meaning — and using the wrong one is one of the most common English mistakes. Getting them right makes your speaking and writing sound natural and correct.
