I thought this was enhanced for the new IOS. It does not have sound on my iPad air. The biggest problem I have is that the verb selected in the search is not always what you see in the conjugation list. I search for decir and it gives me the proper conjugation for preterite indicative but shows me the verb conjugar for the present indicative. Sometimes there is missing data. I can only see He/she studies and they study. The others are just blank but not always. I just cannot get it to work properly or consistently. I have tried reinstalling as people have said that helped but it is still broken. There are other issues I have but I am done spending my time ranting about this. In the end, I am upset that I spent money on this. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2014-01-30, version 2.1.0* Another reviewer mentioned the search/navigation issues with precision, so read that review for one complaint I'd have. The other major complaint is that there is absolutely no study or game mode. I was hoping to switch to this app from ConjuVerb (which has an excellent organization for setting up games for yourself, but lacks pronunciation), but I don't even think I'll use this app, which is just full of conjugation lists I could almost just as easily look up online. Also, since some verbs are given the same definitions as other synonymous verbs with no subtleties mentioned, and since some conjugations end up with the same definition (in different tenses/conjugations) but the only clue as to the difference is the obscure grammatical title of the type of conjugation, I feel like most non-interactive books provide better help than this app currently does. The only advantage this app has over ConjuVerb and Spanish verb books is that it will pronounce words for you (why it gets two stars from me as opposed to one), but since Spanish is almost entirely phonetic anyway, this advantage is far outweighed by the disadvantages presented by it being basically just searchable lists (y nada más). ### 3/5 — Crashes all the time *2015-01-02, version 3.2.0* This used to be great. Now it crashes all the time. ### 3/5 — This is potentially a really useful tool but not quite polished ... yet *2012-12-22, version 1.0.0* There is a lot to like about the verb conjugator. I have not looked carefully at the English conjugation functions, but the Spanish conjugations seem to be well done. I have not tested the database to see how comprehensive the verb coverage is, but all of the verbs I checked so far have been in the database. The only real complaint I have is that the search functionality is not implemented as well in this product as it is in the company's dictionaries. This app requires the user to choose whether the search term is in English or Spanish, and it was sometimes awkward to switch back and forth between the languages if a search was performed in the "wrong" language. Sometimes the search seemed to break down completely, eg: when I searched for "apoyar" in Spanish the dictionary repeatedly found "añadir" instead. I could choose "apoyar" from the pick list, but not by doing a simple search. Curiously, if I searched for a conjugated form instead of the infinitive, the search worked just fine. Also, although some of the other apps from this developer use a sort of "fuzzy logic" for matching search terms with words, this app does not seem to have that functionality, or if it does I have not seen it at work. I looked for, but did not find, a built-in interface for submitting problem reports from within the app. That surprised me. As a result, I consider the app as not quite polished, but the developer has a good track record of fixing problems found in it's other apps and of making substantial improvements over time so I think this is going to end up being really useful. ### 4/5 — Needs the iPad version. *2013-03-03, version 1.2.0* Would be better it the app would be bonded with the Spanish-English word Magic Dictionary. ### 4/5 — Totally worth it *2012-12-20, version 1.0.0* This app is very helpful, easy to learn and use.
