I am a native American English speaker.  This app is just a poor translator program that will lead learners astray.  It mistranslates words and grammar.  

Look for an American English program from a legitimate source.  (Some will use the term “ESL” - English as Second Language) 
There are some excellent free online courses available via iTunes U, CourseRA, and Khan Academy.
