Failed horrible, unbeatable. Trying to grab and control the items is a nightmare ! watching all the bonus points tick away while the pieces spin around out of control instead of moving ### 2/5 — Hard To Control *2013-01-05, version 1.1* Game controls are incredibly frustrating. Can not think why this should be so but it is a fact. Otherwise a good game. However once you have tried Enigmo 2 (in 3D), which has excellent and responsive controls, I doubt you will go back to any earlier versions. ### 3/5 — Cool game - but *2011-08-24, version 1.1* This game is really cool, but the tools are very, very hard to manipulate. Graphics, pan zooms and sound nicely show the capabilities of the iPad. Only frustration is dragging an item. Unless I'm missing something trying to drag an object instead spins it; I have to try several times before finally getting the right spot to drag to a different place. Please better the focus so that it recognizes the touch as a drag and not a spin. ### 4/5 — Very fun with a small exception.. *2011-07-20, version 1.1* A really fun and challenging game; it would just be great if they could make it so that the tools can be moved and manipulated a little easier. But I should have followed my gut instinct and listened to the reviews. The controls are too unpredictable. They work, but sometimes it takes several taps just to get the adjustor to pop up. If this gets fixed, I will up my rating to 5 stars because in all other ways, this game is a real blast. ### 2/5 — Frustrating controls *2011-05-24, version 1.0.3* This should be a 4 or 5 star app. Unfortunately though, I find little enjoyment in it because of the controls. You tap on an object to select it, and then slide it with your finger to move it — oops, it's rotating instead of moving. Try again. Okay now it's moving. Now take care to rotate it to the perfect angle. Okay, it needs to be moved ever so slightly to the left — oh #$*&@! You've rotated it again. And that's pretty much how it plays out while your timer ticks down to nothing. If they fix this, and I can't see why they couldn't, then I would highly recommend it. But as it is now, it's just an exercise in staying calm and not hurling your iPad across the room in frustration. ### 2/5 — Frustration *2010-12-29, version 1.0.3* Ok I love this game, but this app is terrible. Very unresponsive. Hard to control and make precise movements. It ends up being a mrs frustrating than fun experience. Additionally, I would love to see some type of hint system. Some levels are very difficult and I cannot figure out how to get all the water I the appropriate place. I find myself skipping this game because it almost feels like homework trying to get thru a level. Nachbessern!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Again the controls *2012-09-19, version 1.1* I love this game to the point of obsession and always preferred the first version to the second. Having said that I'm afraid there is a massive problem with it. Whenever you try to move a piece already in play either up or down, It ALWAYS rotates the piece instead. It takes numerous attempts to move it successfully thus ruining any rotation position you've already carefully selected. This makes for infuriating game play. I just had to give up after being so excited by the scale and graphics compared to my trusty old iTouch version. But sadly horrible controls. Twist when you want to drag. Drag when you want to twist. More an exercise in frustration than enjoying the game for me. Easily solved if they made an effort, 2 rings -one for drag, one for spin- would easily solve the problem. Or double tap an item to switch between drag or spin. (Which is now free!) You can even use custom game files from the Mac version and visa versa! Even without the custom level builder, Enigmo is still a great game by itself! The puzzles are very challenging and the visuals are beautiful, and so is the music.
