I’ve submitted tickets, no resolution, and I’m still paying for them, as I choose to pay overtime. Experienced an extremely difficult time in my life where these helped significantly.. unfortunately, they haven’t worked for longer than they worked, no one will help guide me, so I’m paying for a product i desperately need, but does not work. And again.. feel lost, overwhelmed, and un supported.. I even was buying these for me while team, but after the lack of service, I’m looking for an alternative as soon as I get over the guilt of investing in my well being. ### 2/5 — Many issues *2026-02-01, version 3.5* Been with them since first deliveries. I paid $400.00 a few months ago to have these and now only the right side works. I have tried everything to fix them. I disconnected the headphones from my blue tooth like suggested from their help AI. That didn’t work. These are useless now and I have no recourse. Huge waste of money. ### 2/5 — Great when it works *2025-01-28, version 2.0.6* The app is so unreliable it makes the headphones nearly pointless ### 4/5 — Support *2024-11-05, version 2.0.3* I just got my eno and am in my first weeks Of using it but I have to tell you so far it’s exciting and the support I have received is amazing. ### 5/5 — Original backer, long journey, incredible tech *2024-09-07, version 1.4.1* I got my first pair of enophones with the original Kickstarter campaign and it was one of my most anticipated backings ever. It was a really long time ago so I don’t recall exactly but I think it was severely delayed and I had basically given up on it until one day a functional pair of enophones suddenly was delivered to my door unexpectedly. So I’ve used them on and off since the early days when there was no mobile app and the PC software was a basic beta version. Here are my thoughts: Build quality and design - 5 stars! Solid build, the enophones just exude amazing quality and construction right out of the box. They also look incredible especially for a brain entrainment device. I guess I’ve had my first pair for around 8 years and they’ve held up perfectly other than one of the fabric seams on the right ear cushion coming a bit loose. Doesn’t affect function in any way, but aesthetically a bit bothersome to me. Comfort - 4 stars. The fabric ear cushions are just firm/soft enough to feel soft yet supportive and fully enclosing of the ear. The tension of the headband is also great for me - a lot of headphones give me a headache after prolonged wear because they apply too much pressure over time but not enophones. The only lost star is cuz of the headband electrodes. They’re pointed and dig into the scalp which can lead to discomfort after prolonged wear. But I’ve found that if I adjust the position and tension of the headband, then I can overcome this issue. The electrodes are also completely removable which transforms comfort into 5 stars but I don’t recommend doing this too often as they could get lost and are not easily replaceable. Sound quality - 5 stars. I’m no audiophile so my opinion probably doesn’t carry too much weight, but for me these sound amazing, on par with my AirPod maxes (the only other over ear headphone that I currently own). Brain entrainment - 4 stars. In the early days, there was no mobile app and so it was a bit of a chore to whip out the laptop and log into the computer app just to track brainwaves. There was really no entrainment tracks, guidance, or anything back then but it was such a cool and unique product at the time that it felt awesome just using such futuristic tech. Then the original company died and the computer software got discontinued and the enophones literally had no entrainment ability at all and could only be used as regular earphones. But miraculously eno was revived!! And one of the first things that was developed was a mobile app. Just having a mobile app was already a huge improvement over the computer-only days (or nothing at all), so I was super pleased with that. However, the early iterations of the app were pretty limited. The biggest annoyances were that it couldn’t run in the background so you basically couldn’t use your phone when using enophones, and you had to position the electrodes just right and wait sometimes forever for the contacts to turn green before recording could begin. Other problems were that there was zero guidance on how to use, zero explanation of what the measured ‘score’ meant or how to improve said score, app couldn’t even be opened without being connected to enophones, and there was no ‘tracking only’ mode. Luckily, the new developers continued to improve the app and my two biggest annoyances were addressed - that app update was game changing for this device. A tracking only mode was also added, but there was still very limited guidance and the ‘score’ was abandoned completed and replaced simply with the amount of time in minutes you spent in each session. But I’m super excited for the upcoming update which promises several really interesting added features. Customer service - 5 stars! Having backed a ton of Kickstarter projects, I was prepared to experience little to no customer service. But with the new company at the helm, customer service has been responsive, timely, informative, and personalized. They’ve really helped me multiple times with both trivial and non-trivial issues. Hats off to the customer service team! Overall, 8 years into the enophones journey, I’m quite satisfied. Although a ton of brain entrainment wearables have since come to market, none that I’ve seen or used come close to the stylish looks of the enophones. The fact that they double as a great set of useable everyday headphones is really useful for me. The actual brain entrainment function can of course be improved but it’s been moving the in the right direction after many years of uncertainty or outright hopelessness. Looking forward to the future of eno! ### 5/5 — Definitely a game changer *2024-05-02* This app is the perfect sidekick for a great product and their customer service is next level with how fast they are to answer questions and help you!!! I never leave my house without my enophones!! It worked with the desktop app before the company purposefully broke that, and it used to work with the old version of this app, too. 💔 ### 1/5 — No Support *2026-04-23, version 3.7* I loved the headphones and app but when your headphones get a bug or any other complication, you’re on your own. The app says to contact support if my headphones remain unable to detect EEG, and I’d love to get some help. Good luck. I’m on the hunt for a similar product with some form of customer service… How a company deals with and supports its current customers and subscribers provides great insight into how that company views its existing customers. Unfortunately, in a time where scams are everywhere and reputation is of little concern, it is increasingly difficult to uncover businesses that seek to partner with their customers, provide great service, and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship for an extended period of time. 👎🏼😒🤬 ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2026-02-24, version 3.6* Cool produce until it doesn’t work. Pointless if your headphones aren’t reading (happens more than half the time) especially when app music is supposed to sink to ur brainwaves states in real time. I hold the middle button for up to 3 minutes and nothing happens except it turns on and off. It never goes into pairing mode nor does it ever clear old bluethooth devices. Not that it ever did pair with a phone I was just playing with the controls. Even more frustrating than the lack of functionality is the lack of support. I have sent multiple emails and chats with the chatbot but have gotten no response. I will likely return the headphones.
