Then charged me anyways. Nice! Quickly canceled. ### 2/5 — Good Luck when there’s a content issue *2022-12-14, version 23.0* The Enquirer app works fine. No problems with the app. HOWEVER, when the publisher is to load content for consumption by the paid subscribers, there have been several occasions when either no content or the wrong content (like a different publication all together) is loaded. When this happens and you reach out for support the problem is tossed around like a live grenade to various support desks with no one willing to take ownership or fix the issue. I’m currently on day 5 of the “hot potato juggling exhibition” with no new issue from last week. But FWIW, the app does display the wrong content just fine…. ### 2/5 — BRING BACK OLD-STYLE PLEASE! *2016-08-04, version 8.0.1* Not sure about others, but for me - I really enjoyed the previous, more magazine-like Version; I just don't like the layout, now it's just like reading any other website....which I can do for free.....giving it a few more issues before I cancel in the hopes that other readers feel the same way & format reverts back.....otherwise, I'm OUT!! ### 2/5 — Slow An Painful New App - No way to Renew!!!! *2014-04-21, version 4.5* The previous NEQ app was great. This is the worst app since changing the last year. Painfully slow. I don't like auto renewal. So I turn it off by default. My subscription ended on March, but there is no way to buy a full subscription on this app. It's still says I have a valid subscription but asks for 3.99 for every issue. Can't purchase the year for 109 like all other magazine apps. 2 stars because elf the magazine content… ### 5/5 — Love this app *2013-11-26, version 4.01* I love the magazine in print, so I downloaded the app as well, and i simply love it. Starting 3 weeks or so ago, it began (assuming an app can ask) asking me to buy each weeks's issue, although I paid for a year. The app quits unexpectedly. I have had to delete it and reinstall it 3 times today. Deleted and installed again--4th or 5th or 6th time. This Enquiring Mind wonders if anyone in customer or technical support is reading these reviews. ### 1/5 — Lousy App *2013-06-13, version 3.5.0* I have a digital subscription and cannot access the current issue. Last week I didn't have the most recent issue. Emailed customer service and got no response. I am going to cancel and never subscribe to this publication again. Poor customer service! I've battled to get it to download every time. I have had a subscription for a while. It's ridiculous. Today is the 9th. Still won't work. Please fix I miss reading the Enquirer. I just tried to install the older version and it still won't work, so I uninstalled the app and tried again, said it would install older version, but it still does not work. How can I Get A REFUND. I stupidly prepaid for a full year but I rather buy the magazine at the store than put up with this frustration every week. No phone numbers or customer service. I get Star online and it is fabulous- then I read online Enquirer and its horrible. I feel cheated by ENQUIRER, it’s not fun to read. Star is colorful, it tracks the magazine and that’s what we want. Dump whoever chose this horrible format - I’ll probably let my subscription of Enquirer go its so bad - even the index awful. Enquirer better wise up and change before they lose everyone. As I go page to page I feel like I’m only getting a summary and I hate the vertical thing.
