I've had so much trouble just trying to find the right place in the app to even link my account. I thought I'd figured it out, but apparently it had only linked them to view and not to access and transfer? Out of desperation I tried to look through the app again to see if I used the wrong thing to link them. I found yet a different way to link the external account with entirely different steps, but now it's just giving me an error and saying that I've already linked it. And yes, it IS already linked, it just won't let me actually transfer anything to or from it. The second time I tried to link them, one of the buttons I could tap on didn't appear until I had gone to a different section and backed out of it again. Nothing on this app makes sense. I'm glad I stayed with TVA for my own account. ### 2/5 — Update *2019-03-15, version 1.36* Need to update the app for Face ID. ### 2/5 — Does its job - could be better *2018-07-27* The app allows me to do what I need it to as far as checking my balance and transferring money between accounts. However, it is incredibly buggy and the entire app feels and looks outdated. It is in major need of a redesign and needs to be made more user friendly. Please consider updating ### 1/5 — App does not work. *2016-10-20* I have had this app for a while and there has always been an issue with using an apple product. The app would not allow you to look at or work on your bill pay, but it would allow you to at least look at your checking and savings accounts. It would be nice if the developers would fix this issue. However, the app is not working at all now. ### 2/5 — Ok bank app *2016-03-11, version 1.19* It's a basic bank app. Nothing special. Really needs to have Touch ID. ### 1/5 — App doesn't work! *2014-03-06* It takes 5 minutes to log in through the web site (which is an inconvenience) so I thought I would get the app and maybe it could remember me, however, the app does nothing! ### 1/5 — I have almost had enough *2014-03-03* I joined EFCU 2 years ago and at first loved it. Then I became annoyed by all the security measures that were being implicated last year. Not enough for me to be anything but mildly annoyed but content with the security. Then 2014 comes and I have to re set up all of my account information (Which is a way harder process than it should have been) and now I just can't even log in at all through a mobile device. If your bank is changing so much why not take another look at the app because I'm just not sure how much more inconveniences I can take from you guys. The redesign is nice even though it adds an extra click to be able to access your account vs the old version. This current version makes you send a verification code every time you use it. When you try to “remember device” it doesn’t remember anything. This is very frustrating. Especially when you check your account multiple times a day. ### 1/5 — So glitchy *2025-04-17, version 4016.2.2* Idk what this update is…but this app is so frustrating to use. It takes so long to load and has so many connection issues with the new version. Half of the time it doesn’t let me log in due to “authorization issues” even when it sends me a code and I put it in. There have been so many times where I’ve needed to check my balance and literally can’t. Also I’ve literally never left a review for anything in my entire life but this is just SO bad lol. ### 1/5 — App *2019-07-10* Quit fixing what isn’t broken. It has the thumbprint login but that has yet to ever work. Tried a remote deposit. It took almost as much time to do as driving to the bank for the amount of times I had to try to login and wait for the spinning wheel of death. We’ll see if it works. After putting in all of the passwords, it won't load into the account. Been doing this for a while. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — DEATH LOOP: DOES NOT LET YOU LOGIN *2017-08-31, version 1.26* I signed up and got a confirmation e-mail from the bank. Login = "unable to login with current user name and password". Thinking I made a mistake, I tried everything: resetting password (3 times), verifying I had the correct username (I did), signing up again ("username already exists"), and closing and reopening the app (twice). Nope. Every time it just says the same thing and doesn't let me proceed past the first step even though EVERYTHING IS CORRECT. I have been with EFCU for decades. I opened up with them pre-digital age (back when they were still K-25). I like this bank when I'm in-person but they have ALWAYS had the worst website and their tech has always been at least 3 years behind the rest of the modern world. This app is no exception. Just a jenky attempt that falls short because they haven't modernized by using a REAL company to design this stuff. It's probably someone's grandson. It's such a headache. Terrible app! ### 5/5 — Awesome App! *2015-05-15* I had a dealer hit me with a 5.6% interest rate on a new truck loan (had to go with them to get a rebate!). I saw where the credit union had a 1.99% auto loan rate. I joined from the app, applied for the loan and was approved in less than 2 days! This app has saved me a ton of money!! The app has mobile banking and more all rolled into one convenient mobile app! Until the mid 2022 upgrade. (See the title above). Transfer links that had its own button on the tool bar AND also with the individual accounts when pulled up has been eliminated. Unnecessary redundancy and only 1 tier of separation made removal of the tool bar link a clear winner. Unfortunately we are now force fed large fonts in bubbles that are also unnecessarily gapped for the most basic function, accounts. And it appears that most all other screens are still in the “old” small fonts. Any visually impaired user will still need glasses for anything except the most basic functions. IMO screen real estate trumps partial relief from glasses (as does the 2 finger zoom) So more scrolling vs reading glasses vs except for “accounts” (now in the large font edition)? PLEASE change for the better, not just a different trade-off. Its all individual PREFERENCE. Give us uniform fonts or better yet make them user adjustable to taste. Thinking about updating?
