## What is Ensemble Wetter?

Ensemble Wetter shows weather forecasts the way they actually are: with an honest uncertainty range instead of a falsely precise single number.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

The daily overview doesn't evaluate a single model run – it evaluates the full 51-member ECMWF ensemble. The spread across those 51 runs is the range you see (e.g. ±3°), a realistic picture of how confident the forecast actually is, instead of a number that only fakes precision.

Hourly values, the current forecast, and thunderstorm warnings additionally come from the deterministic ECMWF IFS 0.25° model, which updates more often than the ensemble.
