Even using a modifier does not allow midi learn to control parameters of enso. ### 2/5 — I wanted to love this thing but… *2023-10-30* There is a serious bug with this thing that caused me to give up on it entirely, and that is this horribly intrusive audio popping/clicking, either when using the Sectors tool to switch between sectors within a loop, or switching between FWD and REV playback modes within the same sector. I was initially hopeful that using x-fades between sectors might resolve the issue, but that was only a partial success. To be honest, I’m scratching my head trying to understand how a glitch this bad could escape the attention of the developers before commercializing the product. In all other respects, Enzo *looks* like a great tool, but looks alone are not enough; the audio quality needs to be top-notch as well, and in my experience, it isn’t with this app. I was also disappointed that a week after sending a tech support query to the developer, they have not responded. I have tried so00oOO many times (iPad Pro 2010 & now M2) to give it another shot but there is always something off with it. I saved presets (with audio buffer) to reopen sessions later and the timing is off after playing a while??? The worst is when you finally get a good take but it crashes before you can save it and ALL IS LOST!?! I guess this isn’t made for what I’m using it for and need to repurpose it somewhere else. My problem is the excuse of blaming negative customer reviews for price increases. That’s a really poor way to do business. It also displays ignorance of how the market works. You can only delete the entire record. On any looper if you overdub loops you can delete the last layer. Or I have overlooked this function? Like many high end plug ins, to get the most out of the looper it may take a few YouTube tutorials but is pretty easy to just start getting lost in loops. This is one of those apps I can easily get lost creating a field of random gestural sounds that can later be further processed and sampled. Love the ability to change both the record direction, play direction, speed, fade etc. I can’t believe I can take this with me in my pocket or on the iPad.
