The new update makes signing the soap notes nearly impossible. I will swipe the whole scream right, not save it, then you can’t get back into it. I created the same note 3 times then gave up, saved as draft, then went back in and did my best print but even that was challenging. With having to do notes every 2.5 hours this is just another inconvenience that makes our job harder and takes more time away from our clients.

Every time I set any timer in the app, the app refreshes as soon as I turn my phone off. There are some programs with timers that go on for 60 minutes. When I am working 1:1 with a client and have to log in, click on the client, and then target behaviors, it takes precious time out of therapy. It is even more difficult since I work with younger kids, and they are constantly on the move. Having to log into Catalyst 50 times in an hour is ridiculous. Please fix this issue.

This app is barely functional. Syncing and fetching data take several minutes. Staff often have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get clients to show up. Data recently taken often disappears. Looks far better than the old app but functions much worse.

I don’t think there has ever been a time where this app was fully functional. Student profiles don’t sync when new programs are put in place - have to delete entire app and redownload. Half the time the students don’t download, just says error. Newest issue is SOAP notes don’t publish or aren’t viewable by others, including yourself. Super frustrating. It will say published and then disappear. Prompting options are super touchy, often end up clicking an option once but the app interprets it as 3 clicks. Always have to go back and delete everything.

Catalyst can’t seem to get it right with their app. Constantly has issues data fidelity is questionable at best across months of time. Interval recording frequently does not work right. It’s a shame. If my employer didn’t use catalyst neither would I.

This new app is great, however it has its defects and my biggest complaint is how slow the app is when I need to delete past data!! Especially when running trials and trying to delete that one mistake, it just takes up too much time in sessions. The old app deletes data so much faster! Catalyst work on this please!

There were some issues with keeping the student profiles displayed on the Home Screen in the app. Each time this happens, I’d have to close out the app, sign in, click on “Manage Students”, and re-download the students. The frequency of needing to perform this was occasional. In the past week, this has become a twice a day occurrence. Session notes dont publish, data doesnt save, pages spin nonstop, notes spin on the phone and never open, waiting 10 minutes to save something and then get an oops message. Pls if you have more than 1 client or employee, dont waste your money. Catalyst is not what it used to be. Its a joke and robbery in broad daylight. Plus, NO ONE actually helps. They pretend they will and then nothing ever changes. Stay away.

Have to use it for work but it’s often times glitching and makes data collection harder than if it was pen and paper. Data doesn’t save, occasionally soap notes disappear. Not something I would recommend to my employer if I had any say.

Soap notes and anecdotal notes are not saving at the end of session, when attempting to make a note it will crash and open previous therapists note somehow. Very inconvenient and unfortunate after session for things to not work or data to be lost. Even with updates these are not being fixed.

When trying to login to the app on an IPad it does not work. We have attempted to delete the app, restart the iPad, wipe the iPad and start over, and several other things. Nothing has worked for us and there hasn’t been a way to contact anyone for help.

This program is in desperate need of attention. It constantly freezes and glitches and the sync option hardly ever works right. I hate this app! It’s the worst part of my job having to navigate this useless and broken system.

Catalyst needs to be updated. Every other day, targets take forever to synchronize. The only way to fix it it’s to delete the app. The other glitch prevents me to add students forcing me to delete the app as well.

Every time a new user adds their account and then tries to add a client, the search bar says “queued” and will not progress from that. I often have to delete the app, redownload it, and then go through the entire process all over again. It takes time away from sessions that could be ran.

The app having a white background hurts my eyes. I would like a dark mode option. 
Also, whenever my BCBA’s SOAP Note is ahead of mine, it doesn’t load their note and makes it to where I can’t look at my drafts or other notes.

As an RBT who looks at this app all day long, my eyes get tired by the end of the day. I would love to have a dark mode. Otherwise, the developers have been steadily improving the app and fixing bugs, and it’s very appreciated.

Almost perfect! It just needs a start session and end session button for therapists. Also, a way for BCBA/supervisor to view therapist data collection in real time during supervision to ensure data collection integrity.

So overall it has worked ok for us. It definitely still has bugs. My clients work keeps disappearing on my end and so do the soap notes. Most of it is still in the main program so that is obviously important but I also need to be Adele to review what I’ve done with my clients and what still needs to be done.

Can you please make another update for timers? Everytime I start a timer and leave the timer to look at other programs or leave the app it fully restarts the app and I have to log back in. A lil bug y’all should work on thanks!

Since the newest update the app is no longer formatted to my phone screen size, so I can’t read what programs I’m logging data for. Anybody know how to fix this? Already tried changing my font size in my phones settings and it didn’t do anything.

I wish that when recording data it wouldn’t automatically switch to the next target. It’s really annoying having to go all the way back and then click the target you were currently on over and over again. I hope they’re able to fix it. Also, when writing soap notes auto saves would be super helpful because I’ve lost so much work before from the app crashing or something. I hope this is resolved. Thanks!
