Walk into a masterpiece you have never read, and walk out as someone who has. Entangled is an interactive reading experience that places you directly inside pivotal scenes of classic literature rather than offering plot summaries. ■ Stage: Step into the middle of the classic Penelope unraveling her shroud by lamp-light in Homer's Odyssey, Gregor Samsa behind a locked door at dawn, or the Cheshire Cat leaving only a grin at the crossroads. Step into 822 scenes across 494 classic works. You stand immediately where time, setting, and tension are already set. ■ Choices, actions, and tension Choose from three options each turn, or type your own words. Place stage directions between asterisks (*) to steer the action. Characters will not simply comply—they read your underlying desires, push back, and create literary tension. ■ Verbatim footnotes from the original text Beneath the words spoken by each character, exact passages retrieved from a database of 36,123 original passages appear as footnotes, complete with translation and citation (book and chapter). Meet the genuine sentences written by Dostoevsky, Kafka, Homer, Austen, Chekhov, Dante, and Cervantes. ■ Adaptations: Where your finished stories live After three or more turns on Stage, your scene is woven into a short story and preserved in Adaptations. Revisit and share which classic character you encountered and which original passages resonated. ■ Chat: Conversations beyond the scene You can also select a classic character and talk outside of established scenes.
