### 3/5 — Great, but one small but incredibly annoying issue.

The app keeps scrolling my token list after I swipe up-and-hold to open the iOS App Switcher, so content moves and I lose my place; this happens on iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 26.5. Please prevent the app from handling scroll input while the system gesture is active.

not a huge fan of this… it feels slow when testing it - the app design is nice but as soon as you add stuff or do long taps ect, you can feel the delays and clunkiness of this app

Wie der Titel bereits sagt: ein Widget für den Sperrbildschirm wäre nicht schlecht.
Ansonsten bin ich bis jetzt zufrieden. Tolle App, die sich über all meine Devices synchronisiert. Der Import von einer anderen TOTP App hat mittels QR-Code Scan super funktioniert.

There’s nothing not to like about this great utility. Privacy advocates sing its praises constantly. Install this instead of any from the big tech companies.

(Oh, and for the whiners in the reviews: you can change the app icon via the settings.)

This app just works. That’s it tbh. It’s responsive, shows the codes correctly and even shows you what the next code will be in case the timer is low. Definitely recommend.

Hat alle Funktionen. Musste von Authy wechseln weil die Desktop Version eingestampt wurde. Da habe ich gemerkt dass Exportieren mit Authy nicht moeglicb ist. Auch Backups der Keys nicht. Ente hats aber. Ein Grund mehr zum
Wechseln

Besides being open source; it just works. Finally a 2fa that is easy to navigate, UI makes sense, and yeah it works plain and simple.

To the dev, I am happy to amend this review if any of this is addresses.
I am a little confused because this came highly recommended. Nothing seems to work very well and I initially thought it may be a tiered pricing situation, but cannot find and way to “buy” an upgrade. As such, I am left to think this app simply isn’t “ready” for public use. 

1. It is impossible to change the icon even though there are 4 to choose from. 
2. It does not open any camera (native Mac or external Logi) to scan QR codes for import.
3. Impossible to edit an entry with any instructions from the FAQ page
4. Impossible to delete an entry with any instructions from the FAQ psge
4. Constantly hangs/freezes and must be restarted.
5. More a preference, but there is no obvious way to change the new from a grid view to a list view. 

And lastly, overall it is not very smooth. Choppy and glitchy!

Looking at the icon alone I had no idea what app it was for. I thought some children’s early learning app somehow got loaded onto my phone. This does not evoke any confidence that this is a legitimate security platform.

Seriously? Some lame lowercase girly bow-tie “e”? Is this a chuck-e-cheese or is this an actual security app? Sure, generic shield logo. But it was GOOD, bold, strong, stood for something. I’m no longer using or recommending to my friends til this identity crisis gets fixed. You guys can do better.

Works decently.  
We’ve needed the ability to set arbitrary icons for items for a while. Now we desperately need a way to set arbitrary icons custom icon to replace the off brand Ms. Pac-Man app icon. 
Also being able to change the font size would be great.

An icon attributed to the aesthetics of the app, this new icon ruins so much about what I loved about this app. It looks like a scam dating app now, not a secure 2FA. Please change it back.

Fire whatever designer made this awful icon and whatever manager decided it was a great fit. They have bad taste. There was nothing wrong with the old icon. Now we have a giant stupid E with a purple shield on it. Really? Do you people not have eyes?

On a different note, devs are still refusing to support iCloud Sync as an option because “uhhhh cross-platform”. Yea that’s great and all, but you can support iCloud Sync too as an option for the users that don’t want to create an Ente account and only have Apple devices. It’s a lazy excuse to force users into no choice.

Installed, started & turned one website to 2FA.  Ente gave impossible passcode starting with dozens of zeros ending in about 10 non-zero digits.  Needless to say, webbsite did not allow me to enter

I love this app because it syncs my 2fa in the cloud and I can access it in any web browser. I wish I could add 2fa secrets in the browser. I also wish I could sign in to multiple accounts at once on my phone (work & personal). Thanks for the great app!

Ente Auth is simply the best 2FA app I've used. It's open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and syncs securely across devices — so I never worry about losing access when switching phones.
