The crosshairs lock on my character and I can’t move them in any way. Just locked up. I keep trying, knowing there can be soft lock events, but it just keeps happening. I’m about to give it up entirely. Just hoping there is an update that will allow me to finish what otherwise is a near perfect mobile game. ### 3/5 — Really fun, but buggy *2026-07-27, version 1.17* A very entertaining game that is now ported to mobile. Very happy to play it. But there are some bugs. I play on a ninth-generation Apple iPad, and while I enjoy it thoroughly, several persistent bugs tarnish my gaming experience. The bugs I have found so far: Audio -Face Melter does not play it’s unique song when fired -Cursella theme song does not play when in her store -Ambient music in Resourceful Rat Lair missing, as well as the music for first stage of the boss fight -rare bug where M16 will fire the incorrect sounds for rounds fired, i.e. bullet sound when firing grenades. Visual -Enemies affected by Hot Lead status effects turn blue instead of red-hot. Same with Dragunfire. -not a bug, but the safe zones for the screen display are MASSIVE. It would be very comfortable to use the whole screen to play, instead of having big bars limiting the fov. Gameplay -The game crashes about an average of once every 3-5 floors when I enter the elevator to the next floor, crashes when entering the High Dragun’s chamber about 50% of the time, and 100% of times at some point during my trip through the resourceful rat’s lair. Normally this isn’t the end of the world because reloading the game puts you back into the floor entrance with all the rooms you’ve explored still revealed, but sometimes the floor layout changes, vendors will have new sets of items or be switched with different vendors, and secret rooms are blocked up again. This is moderately irritating because any consumables you have used (blanks, casings, special keys) are not replaced, and it’s INFURIATING if you have opened a secret passage using a unique item (Abbey of the true gun, Resourceful rat lair, etc) because you become permanently unable to access it from that point in your run. -Several of the save buttons are absent. Thus far I have found save buttons for the Oubliette, Abbey of the True Gun, And Bullet Hell, for a total of three. However, the Save buttons for floors 1,2,3,4, and 5 are not present, meaning 5/8 buttons are missing. I see no reason why they SHOULD be missing, since the three buttons that ARE present in the game function perfectly fine, which makes me wonder if this was an intentional design change for the mobile port since the only surviving save buttons are for secret floors. In any case, it’s annoying that you can’t save on most floors, especially when combined with the elevator crash mentioned earlier. - If you use a controller, even if you toggle manual aim, THERE IS NO RETICLE. I cannot stress how much this one in particular bugs me. Trying to manually aim weapons without a crosshairs is a masochist challenge for the foolhardy. Other than all that, this game is fantastic. Just like the PC version. But I would hesitate to buy this version for your mobile device until these issues are resolved. Any one of them alone isn’t a deal-breaker, but when you put them all together the game goes from fluid, awesome action-packed gunplay into a series of choppy resets. The constant setbacks and interface issues plague your performance, diminish your returns, and make an otherwise splendid game into a truly tedious experience. Sincerely, DK ### 3/5 — It’s Amazing! But… *2026-07-12, version 1.17* So I genuinely love this game. This dev makes some pretty good games. I loved Carion too! However…GIVE ME A SAVE BUTTON PLEASE!!! I don’t have time to sit and play for 40mins+ and get to a lot the other floors. But I want to be able to come back and play. Please fix this issue if you do this game is perfect! ### 4/5 — Phenomenal, but… *2026-05-27, version 1.17* This game is so great and the mobile port is absolutely spot on, I’m really impressed with what the devs have done. There’s one big bug I want to call out in case it hasn’t been mentioned. When you quit mid-session and try to pick it back up later, your position in the level as well as which rooms have been completed or not completely glitches out. I’ve even had teleport waypoints spawn in pits due to this. Sometimes, the completed rooms are erased but the health you lost remains. To fix this, you could have a dedicated “Save and Quit” button in the menu, or you could just set an exact save-state at the start of each level. Besides this glitch, fantastic job. ### 2/5 — I hope the game gets is bugs fixed *2026-05-26, version 1.17* I've basically played you'd game 100% on nearly all platforms and this version is the buggiest version I've ever played. There are times you have to manipulate the controls because you can't move sometimes. When you save in-between floors, sometimes you lose all your guns and items. You also get so much duplicate items which doesn't happen for the most part on other platforms. Also when playing on a controller there is no icon for a cursor to see where you are manually aming so you ether just play on auto aim and can't properly prioritize enemies or guess where you are pointing autograph something like laser sights. Some enemies too do nothing like the electric rubber bullets or gunsinger/jammomancer. It’s great and I like playing it with a controller but I have a couple complaints. First, while using a controller and go to settings to change from auto aim to Manuel and save it it doesn’t seem to save. Second, idk if it’s meant to be this way but it’s really hard to aim with a controller because you have no crosshairs or anything. The rating has changed from 1 STAR to legitimate 5 STARS. The quality of the game was never in question. Just the ability to play it which has been addressed. Thank you Devs! **I downloaded the latest patch and now the game is unplayable. If you leave the game for 5 seconds it may restart which causes you to go back to the Start screen and asks if you would like to continue. If you decide to continue ALL of your items and guns except for your default weapons and items DISAPPEAR. I recently beat the Dragun and was about to go back into the past, and I got a text. I paused the game and checked the text and turned within 5 seconds. The game rebooted and I had to restart the 5th chamber with ALL OF MY ITEMS AND GUNS GONE.
