(RIP Simple, Qube, Monzo, or the lost features of ONE). The app/service is developed by two people genuinely invested in the banking/budgeting experience as former Simple Bank users themselves. They actively seek feedback and build the product around user needs rather than what will make the most money. Recently when both Qube and Monzo announced their wind down of services in the US, Envelope quickly adjusted their product roadmap/development plans to help the flood of migrating customers, working to make the transition as easy as possible for them. While there is still work to be done, and some wrinkles here and there, I’ve quickly become a staunch supporter of Envelope and what the team is building.
