### 2/5 — It’s ok

*2025-09-19, version 1.9.12*

It does function to charge your car, but the chargers are expensive, and they collect superfluous data that they’re surely selling. Just let me pay for the charge and be on my way. Does this even need an app, or could you take venmo?

### 2/5 — Overstay Fees

*2025-03-27, version 1.9.5*

You need to clearly state the terms and price of overstay fees.

### 2/5 — Massive price hike

*2025-03-01, version 1.9.2*

Increased subscription price by 66%. Used to be 49.99 for 500 kWh, now it’s 49.99 for 300kWh. Seriously? If I want 500kWh now I have to pay double.

### 3/5 — Love the service but the app is unusable

*2025-02-27, version 1.9.2*

I love Envirospark and the offered subscriptions it makes charging very easy but the app is a mess especially after the last update it crashes and just goes to a black screen when you try to do certain functions within it.

### 2/5 — Buggy and slow

*2025-02-27, version 1.9.2*

This app is pretty slow and buggy, and seems to sign you out when you least expect it.

Beware: they also introduced a new subscription tier - keeping the old one at the same price as before, but cutting the amount of hours you can charge per month almost in half, from 500 kW to 300 kW.

Definitely wouldn’t be using this if my apartment didn’t force us to, and can’t wait to get rid of it.

### 1/5 — Horrific

*2025-01-12, version 1.8.0*

Truly one of the worst developed apps I’ve been forced to use. They either paid a cheap developer on Fiverr or just had ChatGPT give a go at it. Hopefully the a newer AI model can fix whatever happened here

### 1/5 — The worst keeps getting worse

*2025-01-08, version 1.8.0*

It logs you out, won’t use password manager, and now I open it and just shows a loop of advertising messages but won’t open and let me charge. What is wrong with this company that it won’t let you give it money?

### 1/5 — Onboarding experience is broken

*2024-12-23, version 1.7.0*

Cannot successfully create an account. App does not work with ad blockers installed.

### 2/5 — Terrible Onboarding

*2024-12-21, version 1.7.0*

This app usually gets installed when you’re next to your car trying to start charging.

First you have to create an account, and it doesn’t have Sign In With Apple, so you have to type everything. It doesn’t integrate with Keychain, so you have to switch apps to create a good password.

Then you have to enter a payment method. It doesn’t support Apple Pay, so again you have to switch apps or get out your credit card and type it in manually.

By the end it’s been 5 or 10 minutes and you just hope the charger actually works. There are so many ways this could be so much faster and easier.

### 1/5 — Too Many Steps

*2024-11-23, version 1.7.0*

EV drivers want to park, start charging, and go do what they came there to do. With this app, I spent over 5 minutes signing up for an account and trying to get it to start charging before I gave up. There are no OAuth options to sign up with my Apple account. There is no Apple Pay option so I had to type my credit card in manually. It’s just too much when other apps out there let you just open the app, scan a QR code, and Apple Pay to start charging. Don’t make me sign up for an account, don’t make me pre-pay and maintain a balance. I just want to scan and Apple Pay. That’s all you need.

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2024-10-17, version 1.6.1*

Tried to access my charging status and told me to update the app and there’s no update prompt.

### 2/5 — Frustrating App: Buggy, Ineffective, security concerns

*2024-09-04, version 1.5.0*

Frustrating experience with this EV charging app for my Tesla in Atlanta. Slow account setup with freezing screens. No Apple Pay, forcing credit card input and raising security concerns. Confusing charging process - couldn't find the 'start' button mentioned in instructions. Failed to initiate charging despite following available steps. Left with no charge gained and wasted time. App needs major improvements in user experience, payment options, and charging instructions. Unlikely to use again.

### 1/5 — Garbage company

*2024-07-24, version 1.5.0*

I charge in public a lot and I happened to be near a location where I wanted to try out this stall and it wouldn’t even let me create an account. Not sure how this business manages to stay afloat. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go bankrupt soon.

### 1/5 — Not reliable…

*2024-06-11, version 1.4.10*

They are the only charging stations available at my apartment…and the app won’t work half the time…it either won’t let me select the charger, won’t scan, or when it does it keeps telling me to plug in to start charging…meanwhile I’ve been plugged in. So then it cancels the session on me. I’m so glad I bought an electric car that I can’t charge because of Envirospark.

### 1/5 — Terrible sign up

*2024-06-03, version 1.4.10*

Terrible sign up Takes way too long. . When competitors have easy Apple/google sign up options.

They Advertised Apple Pay then doesn’t show that option, instead forced me to manually input credit card instead.

Clunky user experience, my child has made better apps.

Oh and their charges are ridiculous expensive compared to other much faster chargers and honestly if the app experience was quick and easy I would be fine with it .

Sadly where these chargers are located there is no other option so we are forced to use them.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-11-26, version 1.9.19*

I pulled up to one of their chargers, scanned the code to download the app to use it, once it downloaded it said my app was out of date and needed an update. When I selected the option to update the app, it took me to the AppStore page for this app, but there was no update. Made it literally impossible to use. Yikes

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-11-20, version 1.9.19*

Doesn’t work and crashes without fail

### 1/5 — MIA app wouldn’t open station

*2025-10-26, version 1.9.19*

Off line , clunky setup

### 1/5 — App out of date

*2025-10-24, version 1.9.19*

Keeps saying my app is out of date with no option to update it in the app store. It also doesn’t charge my car fully and it’ll tell me that it’s overcharged and it’s very frustrating. And if it doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi properly then the app kicks you out.

### 1/5 — App is genuinely terrible

*2025-10-20, version 1.9.19*

Not only are the actual chargers poorly designed and the cords are all over the place. The app is broken and currently telling me to update it when theres no update deeming it unusable. We really scanning QR codes in 2025 when we got NFC? Where was this development offshored to seriously.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2025-07-06, version 1.9.7*

Blocks VPN connection for setup, chargers are glitchy/won’t work, very slow in general.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2025-04-07, version 1.9.5*

Menü->Transaction doesn’t work. Users don’t get an overview on their spending. Not acceptable

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2025-03-02, version 1.9.2*

Awful first impression trying to charge up my EV. Would never deal with this platform again if I didn’t have to

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2025-03-02, version 1.9.2*

Half of the features of the app don’t work, the screen turns to black when I try and go to past transactions or to my profile. Very frustrating!

### 1/5 — Frustrating app Buggy and keeps freezing glitching out

*2025-02-28, version 1.9.2*

Terrible… The app has froze on me and glitched out over 10 times today while trying to get my car to charge. It stopped charging 30 minutes in and the app has been nothing but problematic since…

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works

*2025-04-07, version 1.9.5*

It is what it is. It’s not perfect from a UI perspective , but stable enough to be reliable. It’s a pretty basic app. Honestly this has been a god send for me, I own an EV and my condo has Envirospark chargers. I am able to charge a few times a week to get everything I need. The subscription saves me a lot of money. At the end of the day, very happy to have this

### 5/5 — A Seamless and Supportive EV Charging Experience

*2024-04-08, version 1.4.7*

From the moment I began using Envirospark's EV charging services at my apartment complex, the convenience and reliability of their system impressed me. Transitioning from charging an electric vehicle (EV) at a standalone home to relying on an apartment complex's charging infrastructure can be daunting. However, my experience has been nothing short of excellent, thanks to Envirospark.

Customer Support Excellence: On the rare occasions I encountered transaction issues, the response from Envirospark's customer support team was prompt and efficient. Their swift action to address and resolve my concerns not only minimized inconvenience but also demonstrated a commendable level of commitment to customer satisfaction. It's clear that Envirospark values its users and prioritizes a seamless service experience.

Ease of Use: One of the standout features of Envirospark's service is its user-friendly approach to EV charging. The process to start charging is straightforward, and the availability of chargers has been consistent, ensuring that I can charge my vehicle whenever needed. This ease of use is a significant factor in my overall positive experience.

Future Prospects: Based on my experiences, I am optimistic about Envirospark's future in the EV charging industry. Their dedication to maintaining a high standard of service and support suggests they are well-positioned for growth and continued success.

Long-Term Commitment: As long as I own an EV and reside in a setting that necessitates external charging solutions, I intend to remain a subscriber to Envirospark's services. Their reliability, coupled with exceptional customer service, makes them an indispensable part of my EV ownership experience.

### 5/5 — So easy to use!!

*2024-02-16, version 1.2.2*

It took 2 min to set up with my credit card. They seem to be adding lots of chargers at a fast pace. Atlanta region has many! Love it!!
