## What is Envo?

Envo is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the United Nations. Schedule data comes from the publicly available Journal of the United Nations.

The Journal tells you everything happening today at the UN. It is also a PDF, organised the way the institution thinks rather than the way your day runs. Envo turns it into a schedule you can read.

GROUPED BY TIME, NOT BY ORGAN
Your day arrives as time blocks — 10:00, 15:00, 18:30 — with the organ, the room and the duty station under each meeting. Closed sessions are marked before you walk to the door. Cancelled ones are struck through rather than quietly removed.

NEW YORK AND GENEVA
The two duty stations for which the UN publishes a daily Journal. Switch between them from the masthead; each shows its own local time.

BUILD YOUR OWN DAY
Swipe right on any meeting to save it, left to drop it. My Meetings is your itinerary for today and the week ahead, with what you attended kept in a month-long archive.

FIND ANYTHING
Search by organ, title or room. Filter to official meetings, informal consultations or side events. Move through the week, including the days already gone.

EVERY DETAIL
Tap a meeting for the session, the room, the duty station, and a link to the UN Web TV webcast when one exists. Room maps are shown where the UN publishes one.

ALL SIX OFFICIAL LANGUAGES
English, français, español, русский, العربية and 中文 — the meeting content itself, not just the interface, because the Journal is published in all six.

WORKS UNDERGROUND
The week's schedule is cached on your device. Conference-room basements and airplane mode are no obstacle.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no ad networks, no cross-app tracking, nothing sold. Usage analytics are anonymous and can be switched off entirely. Account data is stored in the European Union. You can browse the whole schedule without an account at all.

ENVO PRO
An optional subscription for people who cannot afford to miss a change:
• Private calendar feed — subscribe once and your saved meetings keep themselves up to date in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Room changes flow in on their own.
• Room-change alerts — a push notification when a room moves, a time shifts or a session is cancelled, within minutes of the Journal being updated.
• Add to calendar — drop a single meeting into the calendar already on your phone.

The daily schedule is free, and stays free.

Envo reads the Journal; it does not author it. If the UN publishes a change, Envo reflects it — and if the Journal itself is wrong, Envo will be too. The authoritative source is always journal.un.org.

Report a bug or request a feature directly from your profile, without leaving the app.

Envo now tells us when it crashes, so problems get fixed without anyone having to write in. Crash reports carry no name, no email and nothing about which meetings you follow, and the existing privacy switch in your profile turns them off along with everything else.
Updated the engine the app runs on, which fixes a memory problem that could close Envo during a long day.
