## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Do not use this app!

*2026-02-21*

This application appears to be what trained Fortress engineers use to tweak the system. It is not for you! If you forget to hit the READ button at the right time or don’t notice a bad setting, the system will stop working and they will blame you for it. I suggest you delete the application and open a ticket every time you need a change.

### 1/5 — Does not detect when I try to enter text

*2024-11-21*

The text fields don’t detect my fingers when I try to type my username or password or change my username or password. It’s very frustrating. I’m essentially locked out of the app.

### 1/5 — Garbage app and customer support

*2024-09-25*

I waited six months to see if they could get the issues fixed to give them the benefit of the doubt before leaving a review. While the equipment itself is fine, technical support spent hours and hours trying to help my installer get the app to read the data correctly and here we are six months later with no luck and no improvement - all those hours on the phone with a man on site here on the ground, and they still can’t get the app to read the data from the batteries or the inverter correctly. The app itself is a piece of primitive garbage that an eighth grader could have thrown together in a programming class. It is not ready for prime time and despite a promised update in August, here we are limping along with an app that could be from 2008. fortress power has a lot of work to do to get this equipment and their ecosystem up to snuff such that I could actually recommend it wholeheartedly to someone. a lot of potential there, but it’s a shame they have not invested in the personnel to get and keep everything running

### 2/5 — Notifications

*2024-11-22*

If I could just receive a notification when the grid goes out, the app would have 5 stars. For me that’s the most important function of the app, and it does not work.

### 3/5 — Push notifications

*2024-08-03*

App seems to be improving but notifications is still showing once I have seen it. So there is no way to know if there is another outage.

### 3/5 — Lack vs the web app version

*2024-07-13*

This app lack many features when compare with the web app version. Not be able to download data files, not able to see how much export in the main graphic

Might as well just create a web wrapper would be better.

It would be nice to set a billing cycle date instead of using beginning of the month as the monthly measured
Also a simple calculation of the difference between import from grid and export to grid
Basically how much energy I need to pay the grid or viceversa
