The string action and everything was tuned appropriately and it sounds very good. I was sort of reluctant to embrace this technology having to deal with an app. I like the form factor and the playability. I simply cannot understand why you would not include a basic flanger along with the chorus in the Provided app. I mean, you went this far to provide basic effects. Why would you not include a classic MXR type flanger? Please put in a flanger and I’ll add another star please I beg you!!! How am I gonna sound like Eddie Van Halen? ### 2/5 — No longer works- Network error *2026-06-26* It worked once but now Network error. No problems with network on my end. I removed and did reinstall same problem. Tried to create new account and that does not work also. It times out with network error. ### 3/5 — Please add landscape support for iPad! *2026-06-25* Please add landscape support for iPad! The app is great, but being stuck in portrait mode is a major limitation for tablet users. ### 2/5 — Awkward to Use and Needs Work *2025-12-21, version 3.6.2* This app barely does what is necessary for me as an Enya Inspire owner to use its features and for that, I give it one star above the default; i.e. two stars. Firstly, I have to log in manually EVERY time I open the app - which is extremely annoying! The app does not seem to co-ordinate with any password manager so I have to type everything. Secondly, I only have one Enya guitar yet EVERY time I log in, I have to go through the process of selecting my guitar - also very annoying! If I am logged in, why does the app not remember what guitar I have? Thirdly, there are four banks of four presets. The presets can be renamed but the banks cannot. So, regardless of what kind of music one plays, you are stuck with Clean, Overdrive, Distortion and High Gain when other descriptions might be more appropriate for those who don't use so much distortion. Also, it would be nice if the default images for presets were not deleted when the preset names are edited if users did not have an alternative image lined up which results in an empty 'Enya Music' image. Lastly, and perhaps more to do with the footswitch, it would be nice if Enya made it clear that the Inspire footswitch only changes presets - unlike other Enya footswitches, it does not have a looper function or any other functionality. There is no information (at time of writing) on there website which explains this and if one searches the internet for information, one could be forgiven for concluding that the footswitch does have looper capabilities as much of the sparse information from other sources currently indicates that it does. The guitar itself is great and I have hardly picked up any of my other guitars since I got it. Tried to sign in and it states “user does not exist.” Waited half an hour then restarted app, restarted the phone, and still does not recognize. Drum machine wow I was excited for this; however, it wasn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Downloading new genres of drums was hit or miss. The downloads would freeze randomly. This caused me to restart the app. Then navigating the app brought out other issues. When going into a section to check out, after looking around, I would hit the back arrow (top left) and nothing would happen. No matter what screen I ended up in, if I tried to back out I couldn’t. It seemed the iPhones clock and the back arrow were overlapping over each other, and thus I couldn’t back out. I had to close the app completely to start over. This app looks super promising but at this stage it is hit or miss. I haven’t received the guitar yet. I just hope when it arrives that using this app with the guitar doesn’t hinder my experience. ### 3/5 — Needs support for X4 Pro *2025-02-06* You need to add support for the X4 Pro, i would rate 5 stars if you supported all your instruments with built in effects. Why are they not on this app anymore? ### 1/5 — Device Support + QoL *2026-05-20, version 3.9.2* Software is very clunky, ui does not go well with phones such as scrolling down for alternate effects, seems to be only compatible with a tablet, would love to see it be fully supported and migrated to Windows and Mac, that would make this app 5 stars. Additionally, when trying to connect your guitar again, it doesn’t automatically stay on the screen of the most recent guitar that has been connected, also the colour of the guitar changes back in the app, very annoying. ### 1/5 — なんとかどうにか、、 *2026-02-11* X3 Pro です。iPadで散々苦労した数時間。原因不明のまま突如Bluetoothが接続済みに！　やっとこさ使えるようになりました。先にiPod touchで試みたのが失敗でした。OSが古いとミキサー部分しか反応しません。 アプリとしては良くできていると思いました。 低音の出力レベルを気をつけないとベリベリベリッ！とハウリングを起こします。あと、設定したものがプリセットで複数保存出来るようにしていただきたいです。これはもうぜひお願いします。 追記　アップデート後、ノイズがなくなった点はよかったです。 が、wi-fiがない環境では使えなくなります。一度ラインのプラグを抜くともうだめです。アプリを再起動すると「バージョンの取得に失敗しました」「公式の音はありません」と出てきて、ミキサー部分のみ使える状態になります。EQとエフェクターは目盛りは動かせますが、音は変化しません。。Bluetoothだけで普通に使えるのが本来の状態だと思うのですが、大変残念です(ＴロＴ) **Developer response:** Hi KO☆♫, thanks for the update! We're here to help! ### 1/5 — Do I really need the China-only app to connect my guitar? *2025-11-25* What kind of ridiculous design is this? It’s not even about politics — it’s a MUSIC app. Why on earth do you need to split it into a China-only version and an “international” version? And of course, the non-China version can’t even connect to my guitar. Brilliant. And here’s the best part: the China version can only be downloaded with a China Apple ID… which I don’t have. So now I literally cannot connect to the guitar I paid for. Amazing job. Truly innovative. What’s the point of this app existing if I can’t even use it unless I get a whole different Apple account? I’m actually quite amazed at the youtube shills that obviously received their guitars free, giving this glowing reviews, but i paid $1200, and expect the app to at the absolute very bare minimum.. for a “smart” usb powered guitar… to have a tuner at least. Lots of control over individual channels, plus eq, and mixer controls. Contacted Enya about how to play external bluetooth music thru guitar (double tap the effects button, then pair to bluetooth with "Audio" after its name, and it worked well.
