Always logs out, never connects, can’t actually see or do anything in the app when it finally does connect. EO customer service is truly appalling. You can’t see if a schedule has activated and the charger is actually working or not. The history tab is very poor, no information over time and rate of charge not available. The help screen is blank, the set up is in a continuous loop. And most importantly I can’t charge my car. Why do I need an app anyway just make it a website ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work. *2025-09-05, version 1.0.70* I downloaded this app to enable me to charge my car at Coventry Train Station. The app would not allow me to create a login. I even tried for a couple of days after I had visited the station car park. However I consistently received an error message advising ‘something had gone wrong’. I have now deleted the app as it clearly does not work. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2025-07-10, version 1.0.70* Absolutely unreliable can’t even load bank details if you manage to log in ### 1/5 — Beyond useless *2025-06-21, version 1.0.70* Yet another completely useless electric charger app. Scanned QR code on public charger to download, didn’t recognise original password so had to change it. Then put in serial number and didn’t recognise it. Don’t even bother touching this app if you’re looking for a public charger. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2025-04-23, version 1.0.70* Hands down one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Creating an account was easy. The app won’t recognise any QR code and when entering a charging stations’ serial number in, it always says “serial number invalid”. Poor rollout and execution of an essential product ### 1/5 — Hopeless *2025-04-19, version 1.0.70* We’ve have our EO Mini Pro for about 18 months and it’s been nothing but trouble. Unreliable, just when you need a full charge the app won’t let you do anything, the charger stops working and needs resetting or fails for some other unknown reason! Extremely frustrating and we waste hours every month trying to get it back working again when it randomly stops. ### 1/5 — Not impressed *2025-04-19, version 1.0.70* Bought charger a couple of months ago to link with our company fuel card, with first few days of install, unit started going into fault. Limited to no response from EO, now app doesn’t allow me to log in. A red message says something is wrong try again later ### 1/5 — Horrendous product *2025-04-15, version 1.0.70* I’ve had an iPhone for over 12 years and this is the first time I have written a review, and this is due to being so incensed by this awful product. The comments I make should be taken as the App and EO charger acting together. Quite simply, it doesn’t work and tech support are a disgrace. No support over the phone, simply a one line reply to email. The charger cost over £300 and I was lucky, as due to being able to fit it in a garage, I could place it at less than a meter from a router. At two meters or more, forget any kind of WiFi connectivity. With incredibly strong WiFi, the App will connect and remain stable, but it must be very strong signal. This has to be a recognised fault as the installer video is at pains to tell you to measure your WiFi output, and I have used other chargers at in excess of 20 meters. So when the app does work, the charger is in a continual state of various errors, with EO blaming the electricity company. When I managed to speak to an engineer at National Gird he actually asked if I was using EO and then suggested I give up. Luckily for me I managed to realise just how bad this product was in about 10 days and managed to get a full refund from my retailer. I am a happy British Gas customer and EO supply the Hive unit recommended by BG. The Hive appears identical, and gets good reviews, however costs a lot more money and make no mistake, the EO branded device is awful. Do not buy it. I’ve now switched to the more expensive Ohme and it’s a different class. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2025-02-16, version 1.0.70* Utter rubbish, does deserve any stars. Completely pointless and useless. Wall box is just as bad.
