The charger itself can’t connect to the WiFi. Such a useless system. ### 1/5 — Smart charger turned dumb *2026-01-22, version 2.4.1* EO have just turned off the smart capabilities of chargers installed in homes all around the country. With no compensation or compassion they’ve just dismissed their customers. The chat I had with them online about this was disgusting and came with a “we don’t care” attitude. I will never use EO for anything and didn’t consider them when leading a project to install multiple chargers at our workplace recently. Deleted the app and reinstalled but same error message saying I need to be connected to a network…which I am ### 1/5 — Underhand don’t buy! *2025-12-14, version 2.4.1* Why have they stopped supporting this for their product which is just four years old? It is now just a dumb charger with no control. I would never buy EO again! ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2025-12-11, version 2.4.1* No understanding of how to look after customer who have purchased their product. ### 1/5 — Mini Pro 2 Failed Regulations *2025-12-10, version 2.4.1* Bought my charger in 2021. What EO didn’t tell me was that it failed regulations in 2022, and would be phased out with the app no longer supported from Nov 25 onwards. Problem is that I was only notified earlier this year and naturally the guarantee had run out. Very unprofessional of this company not to replace it whilst it was under guarantee and knowing it had failed to meet UK regulations - took my money and the Government grant and left me with a useless EV charger which I am having to replace. ### 1/5 — App freezes *2025-12-10, version 2.4.1* Would give no stars if possible. Unfortunately you need to use this App with the EO charger - it Freezes each time I use it on my Iphone and even though I am connected to the WiFi I get a message that I am not connected to WiFi so basically can’t set it to charge. Support doesn’t care and nor does the Company. Absolutely useless. Wish I’d bought from one of their competitors who care about their customers. ### 1/5 — Very basic and freezes *2025-09-26, version 2.4.1* The eo is outdated and freezes on my Apple phone and there are no other alternatives ### 1/5 — App was basic, hardware support terrible *2025-09-20, version 2.4.1* Had the EO mini Pro 2 for over 4 years. It would fail to charge on regular basis and engineers replaced most components without improvement. Then out of warranty so stuck with temperamental unit. Now the company is removing software support, meaning it is now a dumb charger. No schedule, no app control. Thankfully ‘openeo’ exists - look on github for replacement software. Wont ever buy from EO again. ### 1/5 — Functionality being removed *2025-08-30, version 2.4.1* EDIT 2025-07 after owning this unit for 2½ years, the company is withdrawing all support, including being able to control it through the app. Will never buy from them again. ORIGINAL Setup was hard to follow and had Wi-Fi dialogs regularly interrupting it. Crashed multiple times for both me and sparky (possibly because unit was busy doing its own secret thing?) App itself is clunky, regularly logs me out, and doesn’t explain why it wants to know my vehicle or address. Dislike how unit itself does autonomous software updates.
