Warum dauert es ca. 1 Minute bis mit dem Iphone die WLAN-Verbindung hergestellt ist? 2. Warum muss ich überhaupt das das WLAN händisch wechseln umd mich händisch mit der App verbinden? 3. Wenn ich verbunden bin, warum muss ich den Refresh händisch machen? Alle 10sec automatisch würde schon reichen 4. Warum wird bei der Batterie die Leistung nicht angezeigt? Bei Solarpanel und Last schon. Ein Update nach 2 Jahren wäre mal nett. ### 1/5 — Operation Failed *2021-12-30, version 1.7* Doesn’t work. It connects to the Bluetooth device but every time you try to access the MPPT controller you get an Operation Failed message. Without an app the Bluetooth interface I just bought is useless. ### 1/5 — Keine Funktion *2021-11-09, version 1.7* Die Box verbindet sich zwar via BT, es lassen sich mit dem iPhone mit der App aber keine Daten auslesen. Doesn't work *2021-10-18, version 1.7* As many others have said, the app just says "Operation Failed" when you try to read the device status, even though the Bluetooth module is connected to the phone. Same on my ipad. It means the Bluetooth controller was a total waste of money. ### 1/5 — Dismal *2021-09-05, version 1.7* This is being sold as useable for iOS. It isn’t. How a reputable solar controller supplier let’s a pile of rubbish like this untouched for a year I have no idea. Won’t read data. Will connect..but what is the point when it won’t read. Such a shame. ### 2/5 — Better yet, don’t buy the eBox-WiFi *2021-05-03, version 1.7* One of the worst UIs I’ve dealt with. Put aside that there’s no option to secure the device from misuse/abuse, and you need to connect (only) to the eBox’s own AP SSID - the app is laid out poorly and inconsistently. Will show incorrect info until explicitly refreshed (acting on this wrong data could be disastrous). No built in logging, or other obvious features. btw, wired MT50 also has serious issues - doesn’t behave as advertised. All that said, I’ve used 4x Tracer A and BN series charge controllers >5y and they all continue to perform very well. A shame about the ‘accessories’. ### 2/5 — Works to a certain extent *2021-04-08, version 1.7* No connection issues however some values don’t actually change when using the send button. Not real time data monitoring as you have to refresh the page every time you want the most updated values. There is also no way to change the AH capacity in the battery settings like you can on the MT50 wired controller. Please invest more time and effort into this app if you are going to keep selling these products. ### 2/5 — Works only in AP mode *2021-03-16, version 1.7* Message to the developer: Could the app be setup to allow it to work when the eBox-WIFI-01 device is in STA mode? The app works well when the device is in AP mode - when your iPhone connects to its built-in WIFI. The problem with this is that its range is extremely limited, so this makes it pretty much useless. However, the device can be easily configured to connect to the home’s wifi (STA mode) via its built-in web server. I expect that if the app was updated so that it could connect to a custom IP address, it could work when connected to a home network...? This would make the app and device much more usable. ### 3/5 — CONNECTION FAILED... *2021-03-13, version 1.7* What the flip? Trying to connect to an iPhone or iPad 4 mini to Epever MPPT 3210an. I open the app, select ble, find and open in list, select and it states connected. My iPhone was connecting to it the ble-01 but it wouldn’t read my epever controller. So I returned the ble and just bought the MT 50 meter for my controller. Works wonderfully now so the app is worth it to me. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2022-03-02, version 1.7* Using the ebox wifi module connected to Upower hybrid inverter UP3000-M3322. Connecting to the device wifi works fine from the shed into the house however app crashes immediately every time I try to pull down to refresh. Never been able to get a reading. I have also bought the modern cloud module that does not work at all with this app for local monitor and also unusable with the epever pair app but thats a review on its own. Wish I knew about this earlier! Although it worked OK, it was a pain to lose normal Wi-Fi to use the app. BLE app (same app) works well and does not interfere with other apps.
