## What is EP Calipers?

EP Calipers provides electronic calipers to measure intervals on images of electrocardiograms (ECGs) or electrophysiologic recordings.  Doctors, nurses and medical technicians photograph and send ECGs to each other via email and messaging using smart phones and tablets.  It is difficult and inaccurate to make measurements on these images with mechanical calipers.  EP Calipers can be used to make accurate ECG measurements and do calculations such as determining mean heart rate and corrected QT interval.  Angles such as the beta angle in Brugada syndrome can be measured as well.  Analyze ECG images you photograph or store on your device, as well as PDF files, such as ECGs generated by the AliveCor Kardia™ device.

Impossible to use this app, not user-friendly at all, possible to erase the lines, this app should be taken off the Apple Store, unable to get a refund, apparently this app does not issue refunds, I tried

**Developer response:** I'm sorry that the app was not easy to use.  Just FYI, you double tap a caliper to delete it.  This is mentioned in the onboarding screen and in the Help section, but I do agree the delete action could be more "discoverable."  I will work on revising the tool tips and will add the delete action to the long press menu.  Unfortunately Apple handles refunds and I don't have control over that.

At first; this appears to be a rather specialist 'niche' App, but I am also finding it very useful for measurement of images other than ECG traces.

Even if we load the new image lines from previous image remains.

Clear button doesn’t work at all

Not able to measure from previous interval. Always two lines come for a interval.not able to caliberate sequentially

1- The lines go from screen edge to screen edge to make it easier to manipulate the calipers on a small screen.  Also this is the behavior of electronic calipers in EP recording systems.  If you wish to email me with more details about what you have in mind that would be great.

I love this app. It has made my life much simpler but I would suggest a couple of additions:
Ability to divide a particular calliper in two without manually dragging it.
Ability to write on the ECG lets say with an Apple Pencil.
Ability to put different markers on the ECG other than the callipers.

Poor design. Not intuitive. Instructions cumbersome. Stick to the calipers.
