## What is EPFA (AERR)?

Equine Trainers, you can now gain a scientific insight utilising formative data for all your horse’s treadmill gallops!


The Australian Equine Racing and Research Centre presents the Equine Peak Fitness App which has been developed as a result of over 25 years of collection of formulated data on treadmill gallops specifically with relation to heart rate and lactate responses to individual gallops. This information has been incorporated into multiple training programs with the potential to give your thoroughbred a fitness advantage.


Used in conjunction with the companion desktop application, scientific processing of your horse’s fitness including displaying heart rate responses during the gallop and recovery period can be viewed over time.


Data storage and analysis of results highlight potential cardiovascular stress during the gallop or recovery period and provides the capacity to analyze and store all horses' treadmill gallop data and compare similar gallops.


This scientific innovation will give you, the trainer, the potential to improve and reach peak fitness with your horse.
