This game really got me into history so if u like history this is the game for YOU! But it has a few downfalls… like taking ages to do stuff and very few players and takes ages to get good at it (although that isn’t necessarily a bad thing). It has a lot of good things aswell though. Like the fact that it’s really informative and interesting. Another positive is the amount of characters. It is highly addictive but for some reason IGG has no interest in creating new content. Seems they have decided to let it fade out. This quenched my thirst. Good game. ### 1/5 — The removed my account after 6 hours *2024-08-05* We were in a middle of a guild war and my city was captured. Instead of paying resources or waiting for my guild members to rescue me, I just evacuated. I was then teleported back to my starting region. Since I had to wait 6 hours to rejoin a guild, i took a 6 hour break. I tried to log in and I get a message saying that I “was inactive for so long, they removed my account” It was only 6 hours! I have never been more frustrated at an app game, especially since I worked so hard for my account and had really good heroes. They get a 1 star for having zero customer support. Don’t waste your time or money. ### 1/5 — Cheaters and Whales *2024-07-28, version 1.9.11* This game has three kinds of players. People that use 10 accounts to overwhelm everybody else, people that spend over $500 USD to overwhelm everybody else, and the poor plebs that just wanted to have casual fun. Game Has Been Abandoned *2026-05-16, version 1.10.9* Game has unfinished aspects, glitches galore, poor customer service and has been abandoned. No real updates since I started playing about 3 years ago. They have hidden game mechanics which aren’t realized until it affects your strategy. And then they do nothing about it. ### 1/5 — Pandi Tech Banned *2026-03-17* I was a LOTR RTW refugee and my account was banned because I requested a refund that I didn’t get. Now they want me to pay them to unban my account. This is most certainly not happening. Im sorry that I can’t play with you, my team, if you read this. I will find you on discord eventually lol Please consider this review before purchases, because even if you don’t get a refund, you may lose your account. Worse devs than RTW??? Not to mention the gameplay is repetitive and seasons are long and get boring. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-03-15, version 1.10.5* Downloaded the game played the tutorial battle then when it came to picking out of the 3 regions on offer to migrate to it wouldn’t let just kept saying they were all full and the rest are not even available to chose from complete waste of time if I could give it 0 stars I would ### 1/5 — Lame *2026-01-03, version 1.10.5* So you go through this whole little cut screen thing and then it tells you to emmegrate there’s three regions only open. If I’m inactive longer than 30 minutes I get kicked. It’s one of , if not the most stupid rule I have seen in a game. This is NOT going to bring you new players. Oh, I need to join a faction? Why, when I wanna see if I’m going to enjoy the game first before I take that step and possibly waste time ### 1/5 — Aucun serveur *2025-10-23* Il n’y a plus aucun serveur donc on ne peut pas jouer ### 1/5 — Terrible devs *2025-10-05* This is a Gacha game with a chance to get good heroes. Remember this — so the developers decided to merge servers that have been existing for 2 plus years with servers that have been open for 4-12 months. Meaning that anyone who is new to the game got merged with players who have been getting the heroes needed to progress. I wrote the devs and they said it’s fair and to deal with it. I spent money on this game for more than just my account. It’s a shame when developers ruin a game. Find a game similar this one is not the one unless you feel like getting the game ruined in the future when moving from season 1 to season 4. So on top of preventing the new players from standing a chance they also skipped many seasons of game play that would have allowed servers 20-42 to be at all competitive with servers 1-19.
