The art style is phenomenal, the humor is great, soundtrack is killer, not to mention all the characters are extremely likable. This series I have literarily throughout my life seen grown. It fills me with absolute joy to see each addition to the series improve, as I can tell and see the love that was given. Ebf5 is just straight fun. This is my 5th replay and my 3rd redownload on mobile. I literally delete this game from my phone to play it again. Knowing that I would do the same things all over again. Capturing all the monsters, getting all achievements, just to do it all again. I’ve literally created my own mountain and this game is my boulder and as the analogical Sisyphus I am happy. Tbh this game doesn’t begin when you start it, it begins when you finish it and then get the itch to play it again. It’s clear its creator doesn’t grasp the weight and significance of this inclusion, beyond creating aesthetics based on N@zism there’s a lot of jokes that attempt to make light of it’s inclusion, the N@zi character makes eugenicist, r@cist statements and the main narrative of the game reveals fascination with world annihilation and anti-human, very yt beliefs. ### 2/5 — Just lost everything *2023-06-03, version 1.0.51* After capturing one of the glitch minions, I saved my progress and loaded out of the game (like I’ve done many times) to get rid of the effect. When I loaded back on, all off my medals and saves were gone, just like that, 25+ hours lost. ### 2/5 — A step down *2023-03-07, version 1.0.51* EBF5 really feels like a significant downgrade from it’s predecessor. As with all games, I only buy premium content if the f2p experience is enjoyable. This is the first EBF game where it isn’t. When you are forced to click on every NPC for quest having like a dozen of them trying to sell paid content is a bit much. But what’s worse is that it is all but impossible to find what is obtainable and what is not as a f2p without consorting the wiki. ### 3/5 — Gets old fast *2023-10-13, version 1.0.51* The game starts out great but loses steam in its second act. Ads only let you get 30% more resources at the end of fights and are not required at all. The deluxe content is well worth it as it adds dozens of hours of gameplay and more challenge.
