I just wish the campaign was longer. I don’t want to play against other players because it is a given there will be players who has payed for very strong decks. ### 2/5 — Full of game breaking bugs *2020-12-28* I own and love both of my physical copies of Star Realms and Epic. So this review is not meant to disparage the game design itself, it’s well done and you should download and play this game. However, do NOT spend money on this digital version of the game. About every three games, I encounter a bug that freezes the program, and I have to close it and reopen (and having to restart the match I was playing). ### 2/5 — Fatal bug in latest release *2020-11-09, version 5.20201029.2* Was a good conversion of the card game but recent update has broken draft. I’ve not been able to complete a single draft since updating as it freezes partway through the draft. ### 4/5 — Great game but... *2020-08-10* I downloaded the game a couple days ago and have been having fun with the campaign but I finished it and tried to jump into some real matches with my new demon deck but couldn’t find a single match! Game crashed after a winning against the Zombie Horse campaign mission on hard (specifically after the victory shield popped up). I can’t recommend a game that does not at least function consistently. I love this card game, but I’m having a difficult time getting into it. I beat the campaign on normal and am playing through on hard, and have had the game crash 6 different times without error while in the middle of the match. I’m playing on an iPhone 11 Pro Max and have no idea what causes this exactly, but I seems to only happen on the enemy turn while the AI is thinking. This has been extremely frustrating as I have had a lot of these instances happen while I’m winning and then I have to start the entire match over because it crashes. 3 stars for solid gameplay integration and fluidity of mechanics that are automated, but I cannot give a better score until the app is stable enough to play. ### 4/5 — H *2020-06-25, version 5.20200617.2* Not sure because it won’t let me make a second account with the same email. ### 1/5 — Not for the beginner *2020-04-05* I am new at this game and your training quests are way to advanced. I’ve played the very first training quest 5 times and 1. It doesn’t train or teach you any strategy ideas and 2. The bit is so advanced it kicks my trash in under one minute. It did not really make any sense at all. Have blundered through a couple of the campaigns, but am still really non the wiser. The tutorial seems very light and incomplete, unless you have played the physical version of this game or you have a friend to help you at the start, give it a miss. There are plenty of other similar games out there with much better tutorials. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2021-01-03* I really like this game. Since I am a HUGE Magic the Gathering fan. But I see issues. It won’t let me play any effects during the opponents play it doesn’t give me the option to play an effect card on my opponent but targets me instead. I can only play cards when it’s my turn. It will not highlight any cards other then when it’s my turn. They also have new cards to play with while we don’t. GREAT GAME!!! ### 5/5 — Decent Game *2023-06-10* 5 stars to counter an unfair 1 star review by vyuv… Yes the game does has black bars on the sides but it interferes with nothing so do we really need to rubbish a games reviews rating with that? The game itself, if we can just talk about that for a moment (vyuv…) is decent fun. It’s about putting down impactful cards each turn and countering your opponent. Similar to MtG but straight to the point of large cards and mana is consistent every turn. It’s fun. The full content is basically available straight away, no need to spend in game. That said, the implementation is rather mediocre to be honest. I’ve seen plenty of glitches of cards not displaying right in hand. There’s this annoying popup every 10 seconds that says “someone is looking for a constructed match”, which is handy if you’re looking for an online match but super annoying if not and there’s no way to disable that. Very rough around the edges but overall can be fun. ### 5/5 — Why isn’t this game more widespread? *2022-05-18* I absolutely love this game. It’s very simple to pick up for old M:TG players like me but it’s also very deep once you spend some time with it. The fact that everything to play is free is mind boggling. I like that cosmetics and tournaments are where the revenue streams are, game just needs more promotion and players to take off. ### 5/5 — Great game *2021-02-26* Love it, it’s good, etc. I wish I could disable the “Someone is looking (for a pick up game)” pop-up messages WHEN I’M PLAYING. They prevent me from interacting with the left hand side of the board, are distracting, and irritating after a while. Update: jetzt 5 Sterne ### 5/5 — Enfin!!! *2020-06-25* Un très bon jeu de carte, style magic mais en plus simple à jouer. La version n’est pas instinctive; et la règle était des plus mal traduite. Avec ce portage (hélas en anglais mais anglais vraiment basic) je peux enfin jouer en apprivoisant les règles. Même à l’époque les explications sur tric trac avait été erroné, ce qui est vraiment dommage parce que ce jeu en vaut vraiment la peine et il n’a pas rencontrer le succès qu’il aurait mérité . Au USA vous avez des tournois de ce jeu. PS Is Hero Realms next? 😏 ### 5/5 — Free drafts vs friends are a blast! *2020-04-09* Absolutely loving this game. I’ve beat the campaign, and played a couple vs battles with mono-colored decks. But by far my favorite mode is dark drafts against friends. Have had multiple games going at a time for the last couple weeks, and really enjoying it. Great system, great art, and you can’t beat the price.
