You are actually exploring the map and fighting enemies and bosses. They definitely dropped the ball in regards to the ‘final boss’, it is just a bunch of scripted fights. What happened? And you can’t lose which makes it no challenge and anticlimactic. It is nice you can unlock all of the characters and most costumes for free. I might have said you should buy some rubies if you want to support the developers but they are changing Epic Conquest into a stinken gacha game. Yes, you read that right. A country that isn’t known for making gachas wants to make one. What could go wrong? I enjoyed the story. Takes several minutes to kill monsters and you cannot progress comfortably without overleveling or being willing to strafe and swing for an hour per boss. For a time, Claris had a bug where if you dodged an attack while swinging, your cooldown between strikes disappeared and you instantly struck, with battles being decided by how quickly you could tap. That was way way more fun than the dumb, nearly turn-based, style of combat we have now. But when that was patched in the summer, game became a waste of space on the phone. The quest item doesn’t do anything and i wanna drop it — I was killing 3 sand worms when they all dropped it; then all 3 are forcefully autocollected.
