There’s an option for a 3 day free trial so I went ahead and tried it only to be charged for the full year immediately. I wrote customer support and said they were having trouble canceling my membership! This back and forth has been going on well over a week and is still ongoing! ### 1/5 — Epic History *2026-03-04, version 1.3.0* This app is a complete scam…i paid and was unable to open the app. I was placed in a quest section. I spent almost 2 hours with support and they couldn’t fix it and they just logged off. I tried calling the phone number listed on my bank statement and was told all agents are unavailable goodbye! So I’m out $49.00 no way to contact anyone! The advertised content in instagram it’s not the same as in the app. App support is terrible and non responsive. Then, without my permission, I was charged again $19.99 for a subscription I did not want to continue. I contacted support immediately, asked them to cancel the subscription and refund the money because I was not going to use the app, and I even received confirmation that my subscription had been canceled. However, one month later they charged me another $19.99 again. When I contacted support, they refused to refund the money and claimed that more than 14 days had passed since the subscription was activated. This makes absolutely no sense because they had already confirmed that the subscription was canceled. So basically: • they charged me without clear authorization, • confirmed cancellation, • charged me again after cancellation, • and then refused to issue a refund. Very disappointing experience and extremely suspicious billing practices. ### 1/5 — BUYERS BEWARE!!! *2026-04-24, version 1.3.0* Trick you into contract and auto renewal. This is much appreciated! ### 3/5 — Warning About Fraudulent Charges – Scam Alert *2025-11-13* Together with my son, we opened an account and made a test payment. Shortly after, we received an email stating that we could test the link for free for three days. However, the payment was immediately withdrawn from our bank account upon accessing the service. After reviewing the videos, we canceled the account — less than two hours after the first access. Since the payment was not refunded, I contacted their support desk (Mrs. Mila). Initially, the responses were quick, but after I provided the bank statements and all supporting details, communication stopped completely. As of now, the account remains canceled, the payment has been taken, and we have not received any service in return. This experience appears to be a scam rather than a legitimate educational app. ⚠️ Please stay away from this platform — it is misleading and untrustworthy. ### 2/5 — Wanted to Like It… *2025-11-07* Apparently, the app is a little bit buggy. Tried to listen to an episode and it kept shutting off and then going back to the beginning. Had to manually scroll to where it left off and then it would shut off again. Very frustrating. Then when I try to cancel shortly after signing up for the app, it wouldn’t go through. Kept getting stuck on an offer to cut the fee from $39/year to $24/year. It never connected me to an actual cancel page. So now I feel trapped. Please let me cancel! (Also I think the app people are confusing this with on Instagram is EpicTok, which looks like video, which this definitely isn’t.
