In the last couple of days I’ve noticed that the app seems to delete pills that I’ve taken and seizures that I’ve had when it wants to. It’s done that to me twice this week and it’s only Thursday. That’s why I still keep a manual calendar! ### 3/5 — App Needs Work *2019-12-08, version 4.92* I use this in conjunction with another seizure app to track my son’s seizures. In general, it’s a great app. However, I feel it needs work. I can’t add his vitamin D supplement to his medication reminder because there are no vitamins on the list. I also wish there were more than two definitive mood choices. Good and bad are great, but there really needs to be a middle of the road choice. “Not Sure” doesn’t really help much. Also “Triggers would benefit from having “flashing lights”, “flashing movie screen” etc on the list. Other than a few things missing, it really helps keep track of events. ### 2/5 — Bad at identifying meds *2018-09-27, version 4.8* Started to use this app. When entering my 3 meds it could not identify any of the medications that I take when I scanned them as part of the entry procedure. Yes the meds are generic but they are common ones. Not good. ### 2/5 — Easy to use - it’s a good start *2018-09-24, version 4.8* I gave this app 2 stars because I was hoping to find something to track my daughter’s seizures, and it was a good start. Since most of hers present similarly- I was able to create a couple different types to easily get the information into the system. But I haven’t even had the app a few hours and am already deleting it and looking for a new app, because it only allotted me to enter 5 seizure a day - and since we are on seizure 8 for the night- this app just won’t do. I like all of its features so far. My only issues are that the app does not sync up with the website and I am not able to login to the app. I am constantly having to delete the app and reinstall it to use it and that is inconvenient. It helps me remember to take my medications. I can track my seizures. I love going in somewhere and if they need to know my meds, they are all right there. The problem is, a couple of months ago, it just quit working. It wouldn't open. But I can’t find a way to edit or remove meds from my daily reminder. Even if I delete it, it pops back up on the list the next day?! ### 1/5 — Angry!!! *2016-04-13, version 4.1* I need this for upcoming appointment! App will not let me log in at all so I went to website I can log in and view information but I tried adding new info and under type it doesn't let me select one and then says error when I'm done filling it out! I had a problem with app a few months ago, not logging in but reviewing last years information, which was available on website. App is trying to provoke another petite mal! There was a new update and I thought it might be a fix but nope! Still crap. Won't log in..... So frustrating! ### 1/5 — Have Problems With Signing In *2015-02-14, version 3.7* Since I have had this app I have not been able to sign into it once. Unless I want to keep changing my password I then can only get on line with it but not into the app itself. Again even to get onto the web site I would have to change my password each time but with the app this does not help I find that it also keeps sending me notification to sign in but no matter what I try it will not let me. I opened, it shows me a link to click to create an account but when I click the link nothing shows up. I went to the site on my computer and there isn't an option to create an account there either... Horrible app ### 1/5 — Bugs! *2014-02-02, version 3.3* Login doesn't work. I've had trouble signing in, but recently I can't sign in at all! I had to delete the app and reinstall it. Then 2 months later it happened again. I was not writing it down and it is lost forever. I am done. ### 1/5 — Not happy *2013-08-30, version 3.3* After downloading, I was only able to enter the app 1 time. After that, it refuses to allow me in. It still sends a me notifications to remind me to check in, even though it won't grant me access, though. I'm not impressed with the website, either. Sorry, but when you are having seizures, the last thing you need is something complicated to deal with. I'll give it one more update of the app before deciding to delete it. If nothing changes, it's gone. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Overall good App but notes section needs work *2022-02-23, version 4.985* I have had good luck using this app to record my seizures and medicationsI have tried several other apps without success. The one issue I do have with this app is the notes section. When do you go to print the app diary for your physician or whoever to review, it cuts off part of the notes. Not sure how to fix this and cannot find any support within app to send questions. ### 5/5 — The upgrade of EpiDiary problem *2020-12-18, version 4.99* The EpiDiary was doing great before they upgraded one week ago. I still like it and all but don’t like one thing about it though. It’s the Note area. It was doing good before they upgraded it a week ago. Now, in the Note area, it doesn’t stay the same as written. Everything you write does stay the same but not in the order someone wrote it. I’ll try to give an example. In type of order someone writes: Seizures I had: 4 or 5 Then after turning off the EpiDiary and turning back on you would see it in this order: Seizures I had:4 or 5 Other than the Note problem everything else is just fine though. ### 5/5 — Important & Useful Tool *2019-07-28, version 4.9* Just started using and realizing how important it is to my daily routine. Once you start entering data the reports and charts provide valuable summaries that can be given & shared with a physician. No way one could commit to memory all the info that can be input into this diary. It’s easy to use, we especially love being able to print customized reports (and visual charts) so you can be prepared for Medical appointments. You can have multiple people enter data into one account so parents/caretakers and child can easily share data input roles. Support from Help Team is rapid and complete.
