### 4/5 — Needs export capability

*2026-04-17, version 2.91*

The app has been great for me to track my seizure and aura details. I really wish it contained a way to export the data like my Blood Pressure app does to allow me to send the spreadsheet of data to my doctors. The ability to add/modify triggers would be great too as not everyone’s are the same. Overall great app that I recommend to folks needing to track epilepsy activity details.

### 3/5 — Looks well, Means well, but…

*2026-04-15, version 2.91*

Me having epilepsy I want this app to work but I feel like all the things we might want for a good quality app and it looks really good but those things just don’t work as easy as it should be.

### 4/5 — Few fixes

*2026-04-10, version 2.91*

I have seizures triggered by concentration, writing, reading, etc. I would love if those triggers could be added, or allow custom triggers to be entered. Also trying to enter a separate log for symptoms is difficult after a seizure. It would be nice if the symptoms could be added to the seizure log. And lastly, a widget to log seizures instead of only for medication. Medication doesn’t work for me but I have daily seizures, so the medication log being throwing in my face 5+ times a day gets old quick. I love this app and it makes everything very easy to see! It’s just a few things to streamline it.

### 2/5 — App sucks

*2026-02-06, version 2.89*

Compared to the old Nile, this app doesn’t track days WITHOUT a seizure . That was helpful when my neurologist asked when my last one was. Obviously designed for folks with current episodes but totally ignores those of us tracking our current successes.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-10-25, version 2.89*

This app is super helpful. I like how many different things you can keep track of and the reminders really help.
The only thing I would say could really improve it, would be a stopwatch within the app to track seizures and the ability to add in your own side effects instead of only being allowed to select from their list and having to add it in the notes section. Hopefully they add these things in.

### 1/5 — I wish I did it

*2025-10-16, version 2.89*

I am sad I put in all my info and refreshed it but I did not get the email with the password

### 4/5 — Review

*2025-08-04, version 2.88*

The app is great! I love it. I am a young adult with a rare type of epilepsy. This is the only app where I have seen my type of seizures, triggers, and a menstrual calendar. I finally feel like I have all my information in one place. The only issue is that in the seizure tab (located in my profile, under medical information)where you can add information. Closes the app when tapped, instead of allowing me to add information.

### 3/5 — I'm done with this app...

*2025-07-28, version 2.88*

My app had previously shown every medication DAILY. Today only showed one medication. I deleted my account and was able to re-add all meds for today. This is irritating, if you set a medication for once and/or twice a day, it should appear (and notify you) EVERY DAY. Having one of your meds NOT SHOW UP, when every other day shows them is not a good scheduling tool to help you stay organized. I felt like i was going crazy! (I'd almost do better manually logging my meds on PAPER!) I would rate higher once the app is fixed. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-06-13, version 2.88*

I used to rely on this app to keep track of my seizures for over 5 years, now with no warning all that data is gone and I’ve lost access to my account and all that information. I’m not sure what to tell my doctors. It’s been a month and still no sign that I will be getting anything back. Be wary !

### 3/5 — O

*2025-06-06, version 2.88*

That is a nice, beautiful and robust. It does, unfortunately, though it takes several clicks to register your medication, which can sometimes be hard.

### 1/5 — Booted from App

*2025-06-05, version 2.88*

I have two Epsy accounts. One for my daughter and one for myself. I haven’t been able to log on in a while due to my old phone. Upon getting a new phone I downloaded Epsy, signed into my daughter’s profile. A notification said I had to verify some information on the profile or the account would be deleted. As soon as I put in my daughter’s birthday and selected that it was not for myself but for someone I’m caring for - the app said I couldn’t keep the account and had to export all my daughter’s data. No matter how many times you close out and come back the same screen immediately comes up and you can’t bypass it to log out or do anything but export or remove the app.

I was glad to have this very helpful app back. Being able to track things accurately has been a game changer for my daughter’s care.

Before I lost the app on my old phone I remember emailing ack and forth with someone from Epsy about how I have two accounts. Asking if there was a way I can easily toggle between the two using the same email. They even seemed open to considering that for parents with epilepsy who had children with epilepsy. It’s just much easier.

Disappointed.

### 1/5 — Now broken.

*2025-06-02, version 2.88*

Was a fine app until it signed me out and made me make a new account and wont let me get past the “Guardian or Self” Page, so basically unusable now which is extremely disappointing since ive been using this app for years.

### 1/5 — Lost all data and customer service isn’t replying

*2025-05-10, version 2.88*

We have been using this app for over 2 years to track our daughter’s seizures. One day I went to enter info and it asked me to login and I couldn’t get in. Tried to reset password (no email), contacted customer service email over 8 times and nothing back other than 1 time saying they would look into it. Ghosted us since. This is extremely upsetting since we have lost all of our data. I messaged the Epilepsy Foundation to request they no longer promote this app especially since I see others on these reviews have had the same issue. This is very upsetting since many of us rely on this data for the health of our children/family members/pets. I’m sure I’ll just get a reply to this review like everyone else to contact their customer service email only to never get an answer. Do better EPSY.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I’m losing all my data

*2026-05-15, version 2.91*

After updates, all my medication data, seizure activity, emergency seizure medication, always disappears. It’s extremely frustrating.

### 1/5 — Loved it, Now I hate it

*2026-05-05, version 2.91*

I’ve had this app for almost three years. I have been dedicated to logging all of my medications, auras, seizures and headaches. My doctor can see what I log and when so they can keep up with what is going on because it is so hard to get an appointment with them. There was an update around Christmas and the app logged me out, it lost ALL of my data… every log, note, medication and any insight I had ever put into the app was gone. Now, the app logs me out once or twice monthly and does the EXACT same thing. I’ve switched to keeping up with my insights in my notes folder, but the notifications on taking my medication really helped remind me if I had taken them or not because life happens and sometimes you forget! If these changes could actually be fixed, I would love the app again, but until then it’s a no from me. I will never be able to get back the last three years of information that was lost and neither will my doctor who recommended the app to me. Huge disappointment for both of us.

### 1/5 — THEY DELETED MY DATA AND VIOLATED HIPPA. Gatekeeping personal information

*2026-02-23, version 2.89*

DO NOT USE THIS APP! YPUR DATA IS NOT SAFE!!!

Update: Spent 4 months trying to get my personal data. I was ignored by Epsy for months and had to go above them to LivaNova. They not only deleted all of my personal information before providing it to me, but they violated HIPAA by sending me videos of some girl having seizures along with all of her seizure activity. Their Chief Privacy Officer admitted to deleting my information.

I spent months of my life trying to get this and only to have it completely deleted. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL AND UNACCEPTABLE.

I REPEAT—do not use this app.

I’ve been trying to get my data exported so I can have all of my historical seizure data that I’ve recorded for years on this app. I emailed their support team on November 4th and they told me to delete the app (which would wipe my data) and now they’ve ignored every single email I’ve sent since their ONE unhelpful response on 11/9. Personal information is being withheld from me and no one will respond. This is illegal.

### 1/5 — Flawed

*2026-02-20, version 2.89*

I’ve used this app for a couple years now but after this last update it logged me out. I forgot my password and tried to get a new one sent and it isn’t sending the reset link. So I tried to contact the app tech support and it’s nonexistent!!!! So now I’ve lost all the data I have stored in the app for over two years that is sooo important to keeping track of my daughter’s seizures! It makes me want to cry because it’s crucial for tracking! Never again will I use this app or any app without a tech support!

### 1/5 — Tech Support Is The Worst

*2026-01-15, version 2.89*

I have emailed repeatedly since November asking for tech support with my account that I’m locked out of and have been repeatedly told that they’ll get back to me - they never follow-up. I now have data that I can’t access that my daughter’s physician needs.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-01-08, version 2.89*

Cannot log in or reset password

### 1/5 — Gatekeeping personal information

*2025-12-08, version 2.89*

I’ve been trying to get my data exported so I can have all of my historical seizure data that I’ve recorded for years on this app. I emailed their support team on November 4th and they told me to delete the app (which would wipe my data) and now they’ve ignored every single email I’ve sent since their ONE unhelpful response on 11/9. ### 1/5 — App stopped working and support won’t respond

*2025-11-22, version 2.89*

The app was great until it stopped working. Now I cannot get into my son’s account to track his seizures, and I cannot create a new account because every time I get to the age verification it fails due to a mysterious “connection” issue. I have checked that my iOS is up to date, I have checked that the app is up to date, I have deleted the app and reinstalled it twice, I have restarted my phone, I’ve even tried using a different email from our original account. Nothing works. I have reached out to support on the website and via email and received no response. Will someone please help me??

### 1/5 — Can’t set up account

*2025-11-18, version 2.89*

I’ve been trying for days now to get an account set up but it refuses to go past age verification for consent for a caregiver for my kid’s account. Nothing I’ve tried works.

### 1/5 — Cannot customize 1st dosage medication time

*2025-10-27, version 2.89*

If you only take bedtime seizure meds, this app does not let you change the time on the medication schedule. /:<

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-03-18, version 2.91*

I use this app everyday to track medication and seizures. I showed it to my neurologist and he said he’s never seen anything like it! He’s recommended to other patients who need to track vital things this app can. Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2025-09-08, version 2.89*

I don’t thank you guys enough even if you are stealing my health information and sending it to China I wish you didn’t but that’s the world we live in

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2025-09-05, version 2.89*

I’ve always been looking for an app like this that didn’t cost or had a little cost. Very good app keeps track of medication and how you’re feeling for the day. Thank you for making it.

### 5/5 — Love the Insight

*2025-06-16, version 2.88*

I have only been using this for a day and I already love it. Specifically the reading materials. I know every epileptic is different but to know more about what I experience makes me wanna cry from happiness. It feels amazing to know what I experience is normal in some sense. I am learning about these things I never understood even from my neurologists. I am so happy I came across this app. It is helping me understand myself and my disorder.

### 5/5 — Grateful

*2025-06-03, version 2.88*

The latest updates have been super helpful!

### 5/5 — Amazing Cataloging and Tracking App for epilepsy.

*2025-05-24, version 2.88*

I generally don’t post reviews of apps, but as an individual with epilepsy, I cannot explain how awesome this app is! This allows me to track auras, I can log auras when they happen, I can log seizures when they happen, when I have to swipe my device to stop a seizure or aura, and it also gives fantastic articles to read regarding epilepsy. One of those articles being over drug resistance, epilepsy, how auras are actually considered a small seizure, along with other articles such as how diets might affect epilepsy as well. I would truly recommend this to anyone who has epilepsy and needs a tracking and cataloging system for their epilepsy, and to also allow their doctors to see and monitor.

### 5/5 — Confused today

*2025-05-01, version 2.57*

I have been using the Epsy app for my med reminders for many years. It has been very helpful. Tonight, though when I got my reminder I tapped the icon and it was as if I had never been on this before. I tried to sign in with no luck. I was unable to change my password. Please help this has been a valuable tool.

### 5/5 — Locked out. ID required for this site.

*2025-03-26, version 2.88*

I have been using this app and loving it for tracking my dogs seizures.

### 5/5 — Very disappointed

*2025-01-09, version 2.85*

I have a young daughter with intractable epilepsy and I’ve been using this app to document her daily seizures for a year. I have been verge happy with the app - it’s easy to use, I love the insights feature, and it’s been overall very helpful to see seizure trends. However, today the app asked me if I was a caregiver/guardian documenting the seizures and I said “Yes”. I was immediately blocked and the only option I have it to email a years worth of data to myself. I am so disappointed.

### 5/5 — Absolutely phenomenal

*2025-01-03, version 2.85*

I love this app, it has made learning about epilepsy so much easier. It has changed daily life, allowing me to save every piece of information possibly needed. I wish every epilepsy family knew about this app. 98% of the learning information has been accurate. I wish there was a kid zone for my son to track his own stuff. I also would like the appointment tracker to be a separate calendar. Thank you so much.
