## What is EQ560?

EQ560 AUv3 plug-in — comes as time-limited Demo-version for you to try. It gives you 5 minutes of Free play time. (You can reload the EQ560 AUv3 plug-in as many times as you want, thereby you get the Demo period again and again.) Unlimited version of EQ560 AUv3 plug-in comes as In-App Purchase.

The EQ560 based on Classic American EQ from the late '60s, the 10-band graphic equalizer features precision filtering and high headroom, ideal for signal enhancement.

The curve shaping potential is unmatched, while unique Proportional Q design intuitively widens the filter bandwidth at lower boost/cut levels and narrows it at higher settings.

The EQ560 extends the features of the original hardware and joins the flexibility of the digital world to the character of the analog processing. Allows you to choose between equalizer modes (Stereo, Mid, Side) and remove analogue saturation from the processing circuit to deliver pure digital sound.

The EQ560 is handy when you need to make EQ adjustments on larger parts of the spectrum instead of a restricted area. Boosting or cutting several bands at once will radically alter the sound of a track, be it a thin, weak snare that needs low end or a dull vocal that needs to be opened up.

To use EQ560 as a plug-in, you need an AUv3-compatible host app like GarageBand, Auria, AUM, Cubasis and more — EQ560 will appear in the list of Audio Unit extensions for effect plug-ins in the host app.

The EQ560 is a great complement to the parametric EQ550 and EQ550b.

It’s difficult to express how effective this plugin really is: it feels like much more than an EQ. I have no idea what kind of magic is happening under the hood but DAMN if this isn’t the best kind of Audio Secret Sauce.

Don’t really know why this plugin company isn’t more popular than it is. The plugins sound excellent! I’m using them in GarageBand iOS. I bought several and do not regret it at all. They are true to the hardware they are emulating, and they have a very 3D/expensive quality to them in terms of sound. 5 stars!

There is something wrong with the App, When I add the app as a plug in into GarageBand on any Bass Track,all of the Audio cut out on all tracks, only Bass Tracks, not on Drums or Guitar, or Keyboard tracks. No other plug-in Apps have this issue, only this App!  Weird!!! It happens on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my iPad Pro 4th Gen. 12.9 inch. Please do an update to the App to correct this issue. I did pay 5 Bucks for the App. Now it’s worse! The Audio cuts out on any instrument that I apply the eq app to an instrument. Please FIX it!! Thank you…

10/2/2022, I cannot believe that the App Developer has not corrected this issue,  I have this issue on multiple Apple Products, so I know that there’s nothing wrong with my iPhone, iPad Pro, 4th GEN, 12.9, and my new iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I find myself going back to this EQ a lot for a few reasons. Simplicity, useful adjustments with its own character. The self adjusting Q that is dependent an the boost or cut really gives this tool a character all of its own. Great for small adjustments to affect overal tonal areas through to more noticeable tonal character changes due to the Q narrowing when using a band more aggressively. 
Well worth the price. 
This developer makes some lovely plugins and it’s great to have the beautiful tools he makes for the Reason rack environment on desktop platforms available as AUv3 on iOS/iPadOS
