## What is EQkey?

Know what to text back.

EQkey is an AI writing keyboard for the moments when a reply will not come, a draft does not sound right, or a blank chat needs a first line. It works inside the apps where you already type.

REPLY TO THE MESSAGE IN FRONT OF YOU
Copy the message you received, open EQkey and tap Reply. Get several editable options written for that conversation. You choose what to send.

MAKE A DRAFT LAND BETTER
Write the rough version in Charm. EQkey can make it warmer, clearer, funnier or more confident without changing the point you wanted to make.

START THE CHAT
Choose an Opener scene for a first message, a good-morning note, a good-night text or a conversation that went quiet.

FIND YOUR VOICE
Pick a persona such as Playful, Deadpan, High EQ, Funny, Sweetheart or Charmer. Adjust the intimacy level so the tone fits a new match, a close friend or a long-term partner.

A KEYBOARD FIRST
Use EQkey for everyday typing with suggestions, autocorrect, caps lock, haptics and dark mode. The keyboard continues to type without Full Access; network-based AI features require Full Access on iOS.

TEXT IS SENT ONLY WHEN YOU ASK
EQkey does not upload a stream of ordinary keystrokes. After the adult-eligibility check, accepted English words may improve an identity-isolated, on-device suggestion model; secure fields are excluded and that model is not sent to our API. Reply sends the message you chose to copy. Charm sends the draft you entered for rewriting. Opener sends the scene and style choices, not a message from your conversation. EQkey never sends a message on your behalf.

AI suggestions can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Review and edit every suggestion before sending, and report content that should not have appeared.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.13 — 2026-09-30

1.0.13 (EQkey+)
- Fixed the 6th onboarding screen so cancelling or failing a subscription no longer traps you there — you can continue or retry.
- Faster and lighter on iOS: switching between Home / Market / My Keyboard no longer re-downloads the same catalogue, profiles or tag data over and over in one session.
- Market and My Keyboard keep showing your content instantly when you come back, without a blank flash.

### 1.0.12 — 2026-09-21

• Rizz tab has a new look: fresh heart icon, cleaner header and Generate button, and the settings gear is gone.
• Reply cards now show each persona's real tag name.
• Added a "Try different personas" button under your results.
• iOS: keyboard suggestions are sharp again on iOS 26 and later.
• Android: the bottom bar now floats above your content.
• Onboarding: clearer, vendor-neutral steps to enable the EQkey keyboard.
• Privacy: turn usage analytics on or off any time in Settings.

### 1.0.11 — 2026-09-18

EQkey+ upgrades and purchases now happen right inside the keyboard, so you no longer have to leave the app you are typing in.
The heart in the keyboard toolbar now takes you straight to your Affinity page.
We removed the old "Try it" demo card from the reply panel, so the keyboard opens straight to the panels you actually use.
Fixed the extra blank space on tall screens and put the input box back where it belongs on the chat preview screen.
Optional analytics is now part of the terms you accept once at first run, and you can still turn it off any time in Settings.
Plus stability and performance improvements.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-12

Custom personas just got a way forward: if a persona needs EQkey+, you now see an Upgrade button instead of a dead end.
Fixes: your analytics choice now takes effect right away, and the EQkey+ entry in the Home menu is counted correctly.
Our legal and website links moved to eqkeyboard.com.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-10

New in EQkey 1.0.8:

• Read TA — pick 1–3 chat screenshots right in the keyboard and get an instant read on the conversation, with follow-up advice and ready-to-send replies.
• The keyboard now reopens the AI panel you last used when you tap back into the same text field.
• Smoother and more reliable typing: first-key fix when switching keyboards, loading-animation fix, and other polish.
