Why it need to connect each time instead of working with the phone Bluetooth and easier

You have to launch the app simultaneously with the start of taking the BP -- too early or too late and the app gives up, then you have to do manual digging to mine out the readings. If the meter loses its date/time, the app (instead of validating the discrepancy between the phone's time and the meter's) stupidly accepts it as gospel, screwing up your permanent records, with no way to correct them. In general, no one made the small effort to make the app as friendly as they easily could have.
