Ah where is the so called QR code? On my laptop or desktop. You’ve taken the “mobile” out of apps! This is useless. After that, there is a green bar that populated to continue but when I pressed it, it asked me again to enter the QR code and was asked to do the same process over and over again. But turns out it’s just an Authenticator to log onto the website (ps, which is also absolutely awful). The company has missed a trick here. ### 1/5 — Mandated custom MFA *2026-08-06, version 3.1.0* I use a lot of websites that require me to set up MFA, all of which use industry standard mechanisms meaning I just set up an OTP in my chosen password manager. I want to consolidate my 2FA to one Auth app only. I do NOT want to be coerced into "downloading" a dedicated Authenticator per every single service or login I'm using!?
