### 3/5 — more complicated than it needs to be

*2014-08-04*

The graphics aren’t very good when you enlarge it for an iPad and when they are talking about a particular point, they show all the other points as well. I personally would like an overview with all the points on, then only the point they are talking about. I do however like the fact that you can look up a condition and get shown the points for that condition.

### 3/5 — Poor picture references

*2012-03-09*

Needs some serious updating on the pictures! The literature is informative but not having decent pictures for point reference makes this app less than ideal.

### 3/5 — Ok app but lacking

*2012-01-26*

The pictures are too general for good point location. It would be nice to see more definition of the body where the points are.
Otherwise an informative app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sadly no option for zero stars

*2025-09-23*

Absolute con, app consists of the title screen and a records screen so basically a £14.99 note taker 😡

### 1/5 — Qualidade ruim das imagens, quase sempre as mesmas

*2022-12-11*

Deveriam fotografar uma a uma das imagens necessárias para ilustrar cada ponto de acupuntura, coisa simples de ser feita, como faço em minhas aulas. Não recomendo o aplicativo. Muito fraco!

### 1/5 — Not good

*2014-05-05*

If you really want all the point locations for each channel. Do not buy this app.

### 1/5 — Worse app ever

*2012-03-15*

Photos are poor, descriptions are lacking, guides for specific issues are spread over separate pages. Cumbersome, haven't had any updates since I installed it. Could be a great app if it was more up to date more interactive and better presented. Wait to see what other versions bring I'm disappointed.

### 1/5 — Poor App

*2010-12-19*

Not worth the money. Only recommendations on 6 or 7 conditions. Nothing on the ankle, the knee, the shin???? Good maps. Worth $0.99 as is.

### 2/5 — Ok app

*2020-04-22*

Doesn’t have a lot of points and information. But I use it for keeping record of sessions and it works ok for that.

It would be nice to have it on my laptop as well as my iPad and have the app be able to transfer data between the two.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2018-06-13*

Not detailed enough. Doesn’t show many points at all. I would not recommend this for anything other than acupressure on your own horse.

### 2/5 — Missing data

*2016-05-23*

Where are all of the references for the other points on the meridians? For example This app only shows eight points on the stomach meridian! St 8 does not come after St 1!
Not a very thorough app.

### 3/5 — Wish there was a search bar in this app

*2024-05-28*

Got the book, loved it! Got the app to make things easier in the field, but there’s no way to search the app for an issue then find the correlating treatment plan. This app is rich in information, but weak in usability.

### 3/5 — Nice start but incomplete?

*2021-10-10*

2021: The example image shown is NOT the type used throughout the app. Rather, the app uses photos of various horses with the meridians hand-drawn as if done with a highlighter tool.

I do like the ‘Records’ tab for tracking specific horses and their treatments but am disappointed the data does not sync across my iPad / iPhone, etc. Having that data on only one device is a limiting factor.

I do wish there were more ‘Conditions,’ especially Colic, PPID, EMS, Laminitis, Immune System, etc. Good start — but it seems to have stopped short.

Many of the other reviews are quite old (10 years?). Might we see an update? Thank you.

### 5/5 — Equine AcuPoints

*2015-02-05*

I find this tool very valuable when I am out in the field working with horses. It allows me to look up points and conditions quickly. I can also chart them for the client and have them work on points between our sessions.
The pictures and descriptions are very clear and acurate. While it is not a substitute for text book, it is a convenient reference tool for anyone from the exprienced practitioner to the lay person.

### 5/5 — Equine AcuPoints

*2011-01-05*

This is an extremely well done application consistent with the quality and focus of all TallGrass programs and materials. It combines many different aspects of equine acupressure bundled in an extremely user friendly package....and all right on my phone!

### 5/5 — Equine Acu app way to go

*2011-01-02*

Just what we need an electronic pocket guide, easy to scroll through with just the right amount of information, simple taps on the image and it is full screen. Well done. No more books with dog eared pages.

### 5/5 — Equine Acupuncture

*2010-12-17*

Great resource for in field work. Images are clear, fun, and informative. The list of energetics and location descriptions is very helpful. Thumbs up!

### 5/5 — Equine Acupuncture app is fantastic!

*2010-12-17*

Excellent app, easy to use and the pictures really show the acupoints well.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2015-02-04*

I use this app regularly in my work for checking point location, energetics of points and point combinations. I can also show clients where
points are, and what particular points are useful for, why I am using particular points.
I would love to see a few more common conditions covered, but as an in the field reference, this app does what I need it to. Very happy with my purchase!!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2012-03-15*

This is a great app for a quick reference on equine acupressure. I would have given it 5 stars but it does not include Ting points or have any colic treatments. This app would be perfect if those two additions were made.

### 4/5 — Easy Reference

*2011-05-15*

It's nice to have an easy reference at hand should you wish to give your horse an acupressure treatment. No need to try and remember point locations you saw in a magazine some time ago. A convenient tool should you decide to try acupressure or even a guide if you use an acupuncturist. Worth the price.
