You have to set up entire new scenes yourself. A friend uses a different system to control his lighting (not Vantage) and watching him effortlessly create his scenes make me want to ditch my app and system. Hate it! ### 1/5 — Broken App - Does not work in iPad OS 16.1 *2022-10-29, version 1.5.5* Even though App has not been updated in a long time, it has worked ok until the release of iPadOS 16.1. After upgrading my iPad to 16.1 the app is completely broken and unusable….please fix this ASAP Legrand! ### 1/5 — It is soooo bad *2022-06-24, version 1.5.5* This is one of the worst apps I have ever used, but unfortunately I have no choice since Vantage systems apparently only can interface with this app. Too late for me to change lighting system, but if you have a choice I strongly recommend that you avoid installing the Vanatgage lighting system. While you’re duped into spending hundreds of thousands on a home automation system they won’t spend a nickel on making it work. Just look at the date this was last updated! The system has collapsed and they don’t give a hoot cause they’re got your money. Sucks to be you is their motto. ### 1/5 — Equinox crash *2022-03-18, version 1.5.5* Further to the Equinox lock-up issue reported last year, as per your advice we contacted again your Authorized Dealer. We regret to inform you that your Authorized Dealer has been unable to provide a solution up to date. To our astonishment, today they have formally informed us that they are not in a position to provide a solution, as they do not have the knowledge, skills and access to Vantage factory support to provide a solution to this serious fault, leaving us without remote access to our home controls. In addition, the said Authorized Dealer has informed us that they will no longer be working with Vantage due to the lack of technical support from the brand and therefore will not be providing maintenance service either. They claim not to have received any support from Vantage to assist their local customers and therefore they have not sold any new installation in the last five years. Frankly, we do not understand how a multinational company of the stature of Legrand/Vantage cannot resolve a fault in an installation through an authorized distributor. We have put our trust in your company and made a large investment to purchase this home automation system which in practice is rendered useless because it cannot be accessed via portable devices. We did not purchase from the "Authorized Dealer per se", we purchased from "Legrand/Vantage through your Authorized Dealer", and we expect support from your company. We are respectfully and formally requesting technical support from you, either through the Authorized Dealer or directly, to solve this critical problem. After updating my Iphone and Ipad (IOS 14.4.2) it works well a few times and suddenly it blocks and it does not start again. It attempts to charge the application but after the first orange light (world) turns on it stop working, the following two orange lights (house and check sign) remain off and it simply stop working. The only way to make it work again is to reset the Infusion Controller, but the cycle repeats: it works fine a few times and it block again. Somebody had the same experience? Any clue on how to fix this failure? ### 1/5 — App In Need of Updating *2021-12-14, version 1.5.5* Unfortunately I paid a certified dealer representative to come out and connect my infusion controller to this app and after spending the day on the phone with Vantage/Legrand technical support it was determined that this app in conjunction with the Design Center software and my hardware from 2012 is not working. I’m very disappointed at the apparent lack of support for their products and training for reps who end up wasting everyone’s time and money. ### 1/5 — App no longer works *2020-12-24, version 1.5.5* The app is broken. Had to switch to Smarter Home to interact with my Vantage home ### 1/5 — Horrible Product *2020-12-21, version 1.5.5* It’s really incredible that a company in the business of upper-end home automation systems could put so little effort into an app that is needed control their system. They haven’t even done an update in 3 years. The app is unstable and requires uninstalling and reinstalling often. I feel like I got ripped off. Never would have installed their home automation system. Very cumbersome and primitive. They said this App would control everything. It has not worked. The company has been looking for more money to return to help me for an app that has never worked right. ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps ever created *2020-07-02, version 1.5.5* Besides it being extremely slow, having virtually no user interface so you just have to tap randomly around the screen until the page your looking for shows up and then compounded with all of the other problems it has. I cannot believe such a great company could release such a terrible product. ### 1/5 — Horrible App - Crashes All the Time *2020-06-09, version 1.5.5* Nothing but issues with this app. We have to reload the software often just to get it to function. ### 1/5 — Terrible, unreliable app! *2019-11-25, version 1.5.5* This app is apparently “abandonware” even though the company behind it is large and well-funded. At least half the time when I try to launch it, it cannot start because it gets stuck thinking the controller firmware is version 0.0.0.0. I then have to reset the controller to get the app to launch successfully again. Vantage is supposed to be high-end, luxury automation, but my experience suggests that they are way out of touch with the trends that are shaping the modern app experience. How they can fail to support iOS better, or Alexa, is beyond my understanding. When you were traveling, it's useless. The user interface has a great design, and the capability for the user to make scenes schedules etc, works great, but the programmer should do a great work in organizating the loads and buttons. The mayor flaws I have detected using it in my system are 3 and it makes the experience horrible. 1. It is laggy with the transitions and I have the latest iOS devices 2. The lack of compatible drivers make it impossible to have really useful audio and video widgets. It would be great to expand equinox driver compatibility ASAP. 3.
