The browsing and purchasing process was very good for me!! However, after the item I bought was shipped evri lost it. I was told to reach out to equipt to get a refund (of course the missing parcel wasn’t equipt’s fault) I reached out to customer service more than once but never got a reply. Thankfully the item arrived eventually (although over a week late) I just worry if the parcel hadn’t eventually turned up I wouldn’t have got a refund as the customer service doesn’t seem to exist. Also the app can be glitchy - it won’t let me accept the parcel or write a review. so the seller is still waiting for money to be released. Otherwise it’s great ### 3/5 — Needs work *2025-11-20, version 3.8.3* It’s good to have a site for equestrian items and generally the process works well but the app has quite a lot of bugs and that doesn’t help the user experience. It’s constantly showing notifications even though I’ve read and actioned everything, which is annoying. If they could fix the bugs, this is a great site. ### 2/5 — Honest review *2025-11-07, version 3.8.2* I love the idea of the app but the app its self is not that great and whenever I try to get on it constantly it asks to update my account so when I do it it asks for a code and when I put that in it always says it’s wrong and it is quite frustrating. ### 3/5 — Not letting me add email *2025-10-22, version 3.8.2* Have been trying for the last couple months to add my email address, tells me it’s going to email me an OTP code, which I receive then the app tells me it’s wrong? I’ve tried to communicate with Equipt in many different forms but still haven’t heard anything back from them. ### 2/5 — No account activation *2025-09-08, version 3.8.0* Unfortunately as many times as I tried the account activation email never came through (and yes I double and triple checked I’d put my email in correctly and tried the resend multiple times). I’ve heard good things about the app but if the basic functions don’t work to even start an account then it’s not looking good for the app itself. ### 3/5 — Great in theory *2025-08-10, version 3.7.9* The app itself works well and I have sold successfully on there, however my purchases so far have had to be cancelled due to senders not sending and any messages/ offers to sellers are not responded to. there seems to be poor engagement on the app in general, but I think the notifications for sales needs to be improved to make sure sellers know when an item is due for posting and a timeframe for sending to be better. Loosing faith with ever attempting to buy anything through the app again. ### 3/5 — Great app just a little slow and clunky *2025-07-27, version 3.7.7* Great app just needs a bit of work. Notifications are very hit and miss. Sometimes the app sends them sometimes it doesn’t. Also notifications stay as a number next to the app even when you’ve viewed them. Bit annoying. Don’t like auto cancellation of orders. I had agreed to post an order to a buyer when I got back from holiday. She was fine with this but Equipt auto cancelled and gave me a 1 star bad review saying I hadn’t shipped. The buyer didn’t know anything about it. Cancelling the order is one thing but the bad review is not right. ### 4/5 — Likely to make a sale on this app *2025-05-19, version 3.7.2* I’ve tried to sell on eBay and facebook marketplace. This app had quickly connected me with buyer. A few features need some improvement but it’s still in its new phase I feel and can only get better. The feedback from others are good suggestions,. ### 2/5 — Good idea bad execution *2025-04-22, version 3.6.9* This app would be great if it worked as well as Vinted it’s SO PAINFULLY SLOW! and options for using evri / inpost would be much better so that you can use parcel lockers, Royal Mail is 9-5 so no good for us shift workers to get stuff posted out efficiently. However the app itself is really clunky and not a smooth user experience for buyer or seller. I think with time though when the developers iron out the teething issues it’s going to be fab ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2025-03-19, version 3.6.5* Great concept but as others have said it lags a lot and is not simple enough to use such as editing a product, removing a product etc. As a seller, I don’t like how everything is shipped through Royal Mail, where you have to find a post office to drop off. There are much easier ways available such as inpost and evri. The request label feature seems pointless and takes too long to come through. Just inconvenient that it only applies to the United Kingdom. I messaged Equipt and they did nothing. It said it was sent on 26th of August. It wasn’t. Then said it was sent on 31st of August. It’s the 1st of September and still no payment. Please fix this as I’d like my £25. I don’t know if it’s Stripe wallets problem or Equipts but the team didn’t do much to help. ### 1/5 — Clunky *2024-08-18, version 3.4.8* First time I downloaded it, I found the filters annoying as you had to deselect everything bar what you wanted - instead of them all being deselecting to begin with. I decided it was too convoluted and clunky so I deleted the app. I saw an influencer sell a couple of things so I tried again, this time the app was always malfunctioning and took several attempts to get where I wanted to be. Not worth the rigmarole. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE APP *2024-06-18, version 3.4.6* I purchased a head collar from the app the money left my account but I didn’t say on the app that the item had been sold. I informed the seller of this and she also said she had not had a notification that the item had been sold. Do not get this app it steals money. Terrible experience!! It stole my money, you also now need a stripe account which is very confusing and definitely don’t trust with my details meaning you can’t use the app. ### 2/5 — Customer service do not reply to you *2026-01-22, version 3.8.8* The actual buying and selling in the app is great however that is only suitable when the app actually works. Multiple times I have opened the app and it has said error and the app is unusable (have tried on multiple devices, but still same issue) and most recently when I open the app it says I need to confirm my email to continue, I receive a code to my email but when entered in the app it just says error I have resent the code multiple times (again tried on separate devices) and it still is saying error I have emailed them but obviously have had no response. The app is a great concept however I wouldn’t bother with all the issues it’s caused will stick to using one of the may other selling apps out there that actually works and will help solve any issues that occur. ### 2/5 — Update account *2026-01-14, version 3.8.7* Every time I try and login to my account; it tells me I need to update my emails etc. I put my email in, put the OTP in and it says it’s wrong. This has been going on for months and months now, I’ve emailed, I’ve contacted through social media and I have had absolutely no communication in return. My messages have been left on open, this is absolutely ridiculous now ### 2/5 — Needs some work *2025-11-21, version 3.8.4* Could be a really good and useful app but the app itself if very slow to load and often crashes. Also sellers don’t seem to get back to you when you message or send a offer on a product which is quiet annoying ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Seller. *2025-11-09, version 3.8.2* I have used this app to sell for a while now and only have great things to say. I have recommended it to many other equestrian. Definitely has some small teething issues along the way but it’s a newer app, with that if I have any questions/ queries I get a response very quickly from Equipt with an answer and they are very helpful. Definitely one of the best ways to sell or buy all your second hand equine products.
