Is accurate BUT I lacks some easy user friendly features Ie: sort in history and it’s oldest to newest No way when you save to enter thinks like location and horse, just one line the. You have scroll down and edit No update they are not keeping up ### 2/5 — EQUiTrail: is this app supported by iOS 13.3 *2020-01-27, version 1.4* I’m unable to update this app and I can no longer read text from location pins on my maps ### 4/5 — Florida Rider *2019-11-08, version 1.4* I love this App. Not only does it show where you have been after the ride is over, but anytime I feel worried about getting back to camp I can see on the map how to get back the way I came or at least know that I am heading the right direction on the trail I an on. Also, by pushing SAVE, when riding in the same place I can compare maps of the different trails I took. More importantly, the one time I did not turn it on because I was FOLLOWING other riders, THAT 5 hr ride was only ended when we were located by a Sheriff’s helicopter! Hard lesson but I never ride out now without turning on EQUiTrail. ### 3/5 — Avid trail rider *2019-04-21, version 1.4* I really love this app. It gives the info I really want. Unfortunately it’s quit running in me too many times. Doesn’t even save the portion it did run. ### 3/5 — Equitrail review *2018-07-23, version 1.4* Used to love this app-use it to track my carriage horse’s workouts. Then I started losing the map when I would take photos (which was a feature I thought was great!) so I stopped doing that..if you don’t hit save after stop (not always easy to do when you’re on a moving vehicle) you lose your map. So I stop touching my phone at all unless I was absolutely sure I could nail it. Finally, today I hit save and titled it but I don’t know what happened, because I went in just now to look at my info, and the whole map has disappeared. Or year or two ago I would’ve given this five stars but it seems like it’s degenerating :( Think I have to look for another app, sorry. .. right now I can’t even send this review :O ### 4/5 — Great app *2017-09-24, version 1.4* I have used this app for years and in areas I do not have phone service, it has gotten me back to my trailer more then once when I got off the trail. I find it helpful and have recommended it to friends. ### 2/5 — Intermittent success *2017-09-09, version 1.4* Not at all reliable, even with good cell service. I've been on some incredible rides with friends, taken pictures, telling everyone I'll send them the map and NOTHING there when I finish the ride. Very disappointed. Looking for a new application that actually works! The distance has not been consistently correct and it has shut off on me, completely loosing our trail. Used it again this weekend and it said we had traveled 8 miles when we were on a 2 mile loop. I have lost faith in this app. I hope they can fix the bugs in it. ### 4/5 — Nice way to track and share rides *2014-10-26, version 1.3* Really find this app to be an added bonus to my rides. Allows easy tracking on miles and able to share with friends. Also helpful when making new trails near others, when you pull up the previous map. Couple times I have not recorded entire trail, but I live in a very rural area and it could have been operator error. It's not a phone memory issue or a signal issue. DO NOT BUY!!!! *2018-12-26, version 1.4* I bought this app and when I opened it, it said to allow location services but when I went in to settings there was no way to turn it on. ### 1/5 — EQUiTrail ap-too many bugs *2018-09-24, version 1.4* Unfortunately this ap doesn’t save the trails. The ap will start when you want it to, it will track everything during the ride. Then at the end of your ride when you get in to it to save the information the ap shuts down and deletes everything. It’s beyond irritating and there is no way to get the information after the fact. Another issue is you can’t access the ap outside of the phone, so there isn’t much you can do to edit fields within it. It sometimes shows a weird amount on the miles while your tracking but once saved it’s pretty accurate compared to my smart watch. My husband pays $35 a year for Alltrails and after comparing both apps with the speedometer on our vehicle his alltrails is off over 1 mile each time and this app is spot on with it. Very happy with this. ### 5/5 — Worth it! *2015-06-05, version 1.4* I was thinking to say 4 stars but no reason not to give it 5! It's really great. I don't go on very long rides; usually no more then 5 miles😁 but it's been great so far. I use it every ride... Only thing I think would be great to add is a way to have a horse profile so that u can look under each horse and see the miles u have racked up! ### 5/5 — Best Trail Tracking App Ever! *2015-05-04, version 1.4* This app encompasses everything I wanted to be able to do and log while I ride. The ability to track trails and associate pictures or comments to specific trail locations is the best part of this app. As a bonus, I can make notes about trails, name then, and more. ### 5/5 — Great app for trail riding. *2013-09-22, version 1.2* We've only used this app a few times but we can tell that it will be a great addition to our trail riding activities. We mapped a trail on a 10,500 acre privately owned property that will soon be open to the public for equestrian activities. We hope that we'll be able to share some of our favorite trails on the property with users who visit and have downloaded this app on their device. It would be nice to be able to add additional photos or place marks after the trail map has been created. You can do a small amount of editing of the title and description after mapping the trail but as far as I know you can't add additional photos. The photos that appear on the place marks do not expand to a larger size - unless we're doing something wrong. Overall, this is a great app and you shouldn't be disappointed at all - it's definitely worth the price. ### 5/5 — Love this app!! *2013-06-02, version 1.2* GREAT app !!! Even when I had no cell phone service in the Allegheny National Forest in PA, I was able to track my trail riding and not get lost in the forest again. The only thing I wish is that you could pause it. We usually have a lunch break and a couple of rest or scenery stops and it would be nice if I could pause the app so it wouldn't count into the actual ride time and mph. Love the new miles viewed as you go. We use it to ensure we are on different trails and to find our way back to camp.
